Amir Holds Official Talks with President of Maldives

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE President of the Republic of Maldives Ibrahim Mohamed Solih held a session of official talks at the Amiri Diwan on Monday.
The session discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them, especially in investment and tourism fields, in addition to discussing issues of common concern.
The session was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the ministers.
From the Maldivian side, it was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HE the President.
HH the Amir hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of HE the President of Maldives, and his accompanying delegation.
An official reception was held for HE the President of Maldives upon his arrival at the Amiri Diwan.

الدوحة: عقد حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، وفخامة الرئيس إبراهيم محمد صليح رئيس جمهورية المالديف، جلسة مباحثات رسمية بالديوان الأميري صباح اليوم.
وجرى خلال الجلسة بحث العلاقات الثنائية وسبل تعزيزها وتطويرها لاسيما في المجالات الاستثمارية والسياحية، ومناقشة القضايا محل الاهتمام المشترك.
حضر الجلسة عدد من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء.
وحضرها من الجانب المالديفي عدد من أصحاب السعادة أعضاء الوفد الرسمي المرافق لفخامة الرئيس.
وأقام سمو أمير البلاد المفدى مأدبة غداء تكريما لفخامة الرئيس المالديفي والوفد المرافق.
وكان فخامة الرئيس المالديفي قد وصل إلى الديوان الأميري في وقت سابق، حيث أقيمت لفخامته مراسم استقبال رسمي.
