Shura Council discuss conditions of small- and medium-sized enterprises
مجلس الشورى يناقش خلال جلسته أوضاع الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة

Doha: The Shura Council held its regular weekly meeting via videoconferencing on Monday under the chairmanship of HE Speaker Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud, at the Council’s headquarters. During its meeting, the Council discussed the conditions of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in light of the directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to support SMEs at the beginning of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic to help them tackle the difficulties they are facing due to the pandemic.
A number of members spoke at the meeting, praising the successful economic policies of the State, reviewing the challenges these companies face and the possible solutions for them in order to play their important role in supporting the national economy.
After an extensive discussion, the Council decided to refer the aforementioned topic to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee to study it and submit a report thereon to the Council.

الدوحة: عقد مجلس الشورى جلسته الأسبوعية العادية يوم الأمس، برئاسة سعادة السيد أحمد بن عبد الله بن زيد آل محمود ، رئيس المجلس ، وذلك عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي بمقر المجلس.
وناقش المجلس خلال جلسته أوضاع الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في ضوء الدعم المقرر من حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى “حفظه الله” لهذه الشركات في بداية جائحة كورونا لمساعدتها في مواجهة ما تتعرض له من صعوبات بسبب الجائحة .
وتحدث في الجلسة عدد من الأعضاء مشيدين بالسياسات الاقتصادية الناجحة للدولة ومستعرضين التحديات التي تواجهها هذه الشركات والحلول الممكنة لها حتى تؤدي دورها الهام في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني .
وبعد المناقشة قرر المجلس إحالة الموضوع المشار إليه إلى لجنة الشؤون المالية والاقتصادية لدراسته وتقديم تقرير بشأنه إلى المجلس.
