“Doha, Capital of Culture in the Islamic World 2021” Activates Starts Today

Doha: Under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the activities of “Doha, Capital of Culture in the Islamic World 2021” will start Monday, and for a whole year, under the slogan “Our Culture is Enlightenment.”
“Doha, Capital of Culture in the Islamic World 2021” activities are held under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, in cooperation with the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO), the Qatar National Committee for Education, Culture and Science, and the strategic partners in the country, namely, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Qatar Foundation for Education Science and Community Development (QF), Qatar Museums, the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), and many participating entities in the country.
A special episode on the launching ceremony of “Doha, Capital of Culture in the Islamic World 2021” will be broadcast on Monday at 7:30 pm on Qatar TV, the media partner, Al Rayyan channel, Al Jazeera Mubasher, Al Araby TV, and via the event’s website https://www.dcciw.qa, during which several personalities will talk about the importance of Qatar hosting this celebration, and what it reflects on the state’s efforts in promoting culture in the Islamic world.
The episode will also include a speech by HE Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali and a speech by Director General of ISESCO Dr. Salim bin Mohammed Al Malik on Doha’s hosting of this cultural celebration. Also, the Qatari artist Fahad AlKubaisi will perform artistic shows and Omani poet Jamal Al Mulla will present a special poem on this occasion.

الدوحة: تحت الرعاية الكريمة لحضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، تنطلق اليوم، وعلى مدار عام كامل فعاليات ” الدوحة عاصمة الثقافة في العالم الإسلامي للعام 2021 ” تحت شعار “ثقافتنا نور”.
وتقام “الدوحة عاصمة الثقافة الإسلامية” للعام الجاري بإشراف وزارة الثقافة والرياضة، وبالتعاون مع منظمة العالم الإسلامي للتربية والعلوم والثقافة /الإيسيسكو/ واللجنة الوطنية القطرية للتربية والثقافة والعلوم، والشركاء الاستراتيجيين بالدولة وهم، وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي، ووزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، ومؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع، ومتاحف قطر، والمؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي /كتارا/، والعديد من الجهات المشاركة بالدولة.
وسوف يتم بث حلقة خاصة لحفل إطلاق فعاليات “الدوحة عاصمة الثقافة في العالم الإسلامي”، مساء اليوم عند الساعة السابعة والنصف مساء عبر شاشة تلفزيون قطر الشريك الاعلامي، وقناة الريان الفضائية، والجزيرة مباشر، والتلفزيون العربي، وعبر الموقع الالكتروني للفعالية https://www.dcciw.qa/، وسيتم خلاله استضافة عدد من الشخصيات للحديث عن أهمية استضافة دولة قطر لهذه الاحتفالية، وما تعكسه من جهود الدولة في تعزيز الثقافة في العالم الاسلامي.
كما سيتم خلال حلقة البث نقل كلمة لسعادة السيد صلاح بن غانم العلي وزير الثقافة والرياضة، بهذه المناسبة، وكلمة للدكتور سالم بن محمد المالك، المدير العام لـ /الإيسيسكو/، والحديث فيها عن الانطلاقة واستضافة الدوحة لهذه الاحتفالية الثقافية، بالإضافة الى مشاركة الفنان القطري فهد الكبيسي بفقرات فنية، ومشاركة الشاعر العماني جمال الملا بقصيدة خاصة بمناسبة هذه الاستضافة.
