Gang trading in Qatar visas arrested
القبض على تشكيل عصابي للاتجار في تأشيرات الدخول للبلاد
The Search and Follow-up Department of the Ministry of Interior has arrested a gang of nine for selling visas. This criminal act contravenes Law No. (21) of 2015 regulating the entry and exit of expatriates and their residency.
Brigadier Abdullah Jaber Al Labdah, director of Search and Follow-up Department, said that administration conducts many inspections throughout the country to find violators, who sell visas using fake companies.
The gang of nine was caught along with documents by the officials while they were trying to sell a visa to someone sent by the department.
Captain Omar Khalifa Al Rumaihi, head of Search and Investigation Department, explained that they seized nine people of African and Asian nationalities after receiving tipoffs that some people are posting and promoting visa trade on social media.
“After confirming the authenticity of the information, the department kept an eye on the members of the gang and a warrant was issued by the Public Prosecution to arrest the accused. The gang was caught red-handed while trying to sell a visa, for financial compensation, to someone who was sent by the authorities. The Search and Investigation team was able to arrest all the accused and seized number of stamps, identity cards, bank cards, and cash from them. The accused were referred to the prosecution to complete legal procedures,” he added.
He called on all citizens and expatriates not to deal with fleeing workers or employ them, stressing that the administration is conducting inspections to catch all the violators.
He also urged company owners to not give their IDs to unknown people or authorize people who are not to be trusted in their company for official work. He also advised companies to notify immediately about fleeing workers with all information that is available with them.
نجحت إدارة البحث والمتابعة في القبض على تشكيل عصابي مكون من 9 أشخاص، لقيامهم بالاتجار في سمات الدخول للبلاد، بما يخالف القانون رقم 21 لسنة 2015 الخاص بتنظيم دخول وخروج الوافدين وإقامتهم.
وأكد العميد عبد الله جابر اللبدة، مدير إدارة البحث والمتابعة، أن الإدارة تقوم بالدور المنوط بها في تطبيق القانون، من خلال الحملات التفتيشية التي تقوم بها على مختلف مناطق الدولة، وما تسفر عنه من ضبط المخالفين الذين يقومون بالمتاجرة في سمات الدخول للبلاد، عبر شركات وهمية، والتي بدورها تساهم بشكل مباشر في زيادة العمالة السائبة والهاربة.
وقال إن الإدارة لديها قسم للبحث والتحري لمكافحة هذه المخالفات، والذي قام خلال الفترة الماضية بجهود كبيرة أسفرت عن ضبط العديد من المخالفين الذين جرت إحالتهم إلى نيابة شؤون الإقامة مع الأدلة والمستندات الدالة على ارتكابهم الجريمة، ومن ثم إحالتهم إلى الجهات المختصة.
وأوضح النقيب عمر خليفة الرميحي، رئيس قسم البحث والتحري، أن الإدارة نجحت في ضبط 9 أشخاص من الجنسية الإفريقية والجنسية الآسيوية، بعد ورود بلاغات إلى الإدارة تفيد قيام بعض الأشخاص بعرض وترويج سمات دخول إلى الدولة، عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث تم التعامل مع البلاغات من قبل قسم البحث والتحري، وبعد التأكد من صحة المعلومات ومتابعة أفراد التشكيل العصابي، تم استصدار أمر ضبط من النيابة العامة للقبض على المتهمين في حالة تلبس أثناء الاتفاق مع أحد الأشخاص لبيع سمة دخول بمقابل مادي. وقد تمكن فريق البحث والتحري من ضبط المتهمين، وبحوزتهم عدد من الأختام، والبطاقات الشخصية، والبطاقات البنكية، ومبالغ مالية، وتم تحريز المضبوطات وإحالة المتهمين إلى النيابة لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية.
ودعا جميع المواطنين والوافدين إلى عدم التعامل مع العمالة الهاربة أو تشغيلهم، مؤكداً أن الإدارة تعمل بشفافية في عمليات ضبط المخالفين وتنفيذ القانون على الجميع، من أجل ضبط الأمن والمحافظة على النظام في المجتمع، مطالباً المستقدمين وأصحاب الشركات بعدم منح بطاقاتهم الشخصية أو تفويض أشخاص ليسوا محل ثقة في شركاتهم، مع القيام بالإبلاغ فوراً عن العمالة الهاربة، وتقديم كل المعلومات التي تتوافر بشأنهم.
