No entry for employees to schools without vaccine or weekly test: Ministry

Doha: In its Circular No.13 dated 3 March, the Ministry of education announced a set of measures taken in coordination with the competent authorities to affirm the importance of taking COVID-19 vaccination for protection & prevention reasons, thus ensuring the safety of teachers, admins & students

Therefore, starting March 21st the Ministry affirms that no employee will be allowed to enter school premises before:

• Having the Golden Frame & vaccination stamp on Ehteraz ,or

• Showing up vaccination card,or

• Furnishing a proof of having COVID-19 test on a weekly basis.

These measures come as part of the Ministry’s responsibility to protect students and school stuff and ensure a healthy and safe school environment.

The Ministry, therefore, calls on all school employees to take the vaccination on the arranged dates to ensure their safety and the safety of students. The vaccination priority given to school staff will remain valid until the end of March.

For employees who test positive of or contact a confirmed case, no salary will be paid for the quarantine period in case that they refrain from taking the vaccination for unacceptable reasons.

الدوحة: أكدت وزارة التعليم من خلال تعميمها رقم 13 بتاريخ 03 مارس الجاري على سلسلة إجراءات وتدابير تم اتخاذها بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة في الدولة، بهدف التأكيد على أهمية أخذ التطعيم كحماية ووقاية من الإصابة بفيروس كورونا (كوفيد 19)، ضمانا لسلامة الكادر التعليمي والإداري وسلامة أبنائنا الطلبة.

وتؤكد الوزارة بأنه لن يُسمح لأي موظف الدخول إلى المدرسة إلا بعد التأكد من:

• وجود الإطار الذهبي وختم اللقاح عند إبراز الحالة الصحية في تطبيق احتراز

• أو إبراز بطاقة تطعيم كورونا

• أو إحضار ما يثبت قيام الموظف بعمل فحص كوفيد-19 بشكل أسبوعي وسيتم العمل ابتداء من 21 مارس الجاري

و في حال الإصابة المؤكدة أو مخالطة إصابة مؤكدة فإنه سيتم احتساب مدّة الحجر دون راتب، وذلك لكل موظف أتيحت له فرصة أخذ اللقاح وتخلف عنه لأسباب غبر مقبولة.

وعليه تدعو الوزارة جميع موظفي المدارس إلى أخذ اللقاح وعدم التخلّف عن المواعيد المحدّدة حفاظا على سلامتهم وسلامة الطلبة، مع التذكير بأن أولوية تطعيم العاملين بالمدارس ستنتهي مع نهاية شهر مارس.

تأتي هذه الإجراءات تأكيدا على دور الوزارة في حماية وتوفير بيئة آمنه للطلبة وموظفي المدارس.
