MoI Reviews the progress Made in Implementing its 2022 Strategy

Doha: The ministry of Interior reviewed, in a meeting held on Wednesday, the results of the midterm review report of its sector strategy within the Second National Development Strategy 2018-2022, in the presence of HE Undersecretary of the Ministry, Commander of the Lekhwiya Force, Major General Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al -Thani, and a number of general directors, directors of departments and heads of the relevant committees.

During the meeting, Director of Planning and Quality Department at the ministry, Brigadier Abdul Rahman Majid Al Sulaiti and Assistant Director of the Department Lieutenant Colonel Khaled Abdulaziz Al Mohannadi, reviewed the sectoral results and strategic objectives of the ministry, and the progress made, whether in implementing the strategic goals or in achieving global indicators.

The progress made in the institutional performance standards, the programs, projects and the operational plans implemented, the strategic performance indicators, the general results and the achieved effects were reviewed as well.

Brigadier Al Sulaiti explained that the importance of the report lies in its role in correcting and straightening the course of achieving the strategic goals and evaluating the realism of the measurement indicators in the first half to complete the follow-up of the second half of the strategy based on sound foundations and indicators, and submitting the final report at the end of 2022.

The participants also discussed means of maintaining the progress made in implementing the strategy, and the related plans and programs aimed at achieving the objectives of the Ministry of Interior in order to meet the requirements of security work.

HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior directed to exert more efforts in achieving the aspirations of the strategy, praising all the efforts made by all departments and committees of the Ministry.

الدوحة: استعرضت وزارة الداخلية، في لقاء عقد اليوم، نتائج تقرير مراجعة منتصف المدة لاستراتيجيتها القطاعية، ضمن استراتيجية التنمية الوطنية الثانية /2018-2022/، بحضور سعادة اللواء عبدالعزيز بن فيصل آل ثاني وكيل الوزارة، قائد قوة /لخويا/، وعدد من المديرين العامين ومديري الإدارات ورؤساء اللجان المعنية.

وخلال اللقاء، استعرض العميد عبدالرحمن ماجد السليطي، مدير إدارة التخطيط والجودة بالوزارة، والمقدم خالد عبدالعزيز المهندي مساعد مدير الإدارة، النتائج القطاعية والأهداف الاستراتيجية للوزارة، والتقدم المحرز سواء في تنفيذ الأهداف الاستراتيجية أو في تحقيق المؤشرات العالمية.

كما تم استعراض التقدم المحرز في معايير الأداء المؤسسي والبرامج والمشاريع والخطط التشغيلية المنفذة، ومؤشرات قياس الأداء الاستراتيجي والنتائج العامة والآثار المتحققة.

وأوضح العميد السليطي أن أهمية التقرير تكمن في دوره في تصحيح وتصويب مسار تحقيق الأهداف الاستراتيجية، وتقييم واقعية مؤشرات القياس في النصف الأول لاستكمال متابعة النصف الثاني من عمر الاستراتيجية بناء على أسس ومؤشرات سليمة، ورفع التقرير الختامي نهاية عام 2022.

وناقش المشاركون في اللقاء سبل المحافظة على التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ الاستراتيجية، والخطط والبرامج ذات الصلة والتي تهدف إلى تحقيق أهداف وزارة الداخلية بما يلبي متطلبات العمل الأمني.
