Paris: HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al-Thani celebrated a new winner at Mont-de-Marsan, France when the 3-year-old filly CREEDMOOR (Invincible Spirit x Vorda) won on her first start on French soil in the Prix Jean-Pierre Urruty (3yo maiden race). Previously trained in the UK, this daughter of the Gr.1 champion Vorda, who also ran in the colours of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, won by a comfortable 3 lengths for new trainer Philippe Sogorb.
Under jockey Alejandro Gutierrez Val, she sat in behind the leaders in 3rd position in the 1,400m race led by KAMA CHOPE (Amadeus Wolf x Kadance Blue). Taking the lead off the final turn, she accelerated well off a decent pace to cruise to the lead and was never worried by her rivals.
“I am very pleased as I thought that she should win here” said trainer Sogorb, “Creedmoor has still improvement to come. She was a little keen, but once she found cover she relaxed. She has a good acceleration, but I think she hit the front a bit early. She should stay over 1,400m or 1,600m; no further. I want her to get some confidence and so she will come progressively up the ranks.”
CREEDMOOR is the 3rd offspring out of Cheveley Park Stakes (Gr1) heroine VORDA, who was also trained by Philippe Sogorb for HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al-Thani. She also has a 4-year-old filly by Teofilo, SAIGA stable companion to CREEDMOOR, who is a dual winner already. CREEDMOOR is by the leading Irish sire INVINCIBLE SPIRIT.

وأحرزت /كريدمور/ الفوز بفارق 3 أطوال ونصف طول بإشراف مدربها الجديد فيليب سوغورب وبقيادة الخيال أليجاندرو غوتيريز فال.
وعقب الفوز قال المدرب سوغورب: أشعر بسعادة كبيرة خاصة وأنني توقعت أن /كريدمور/ ستفوز بهذا الشوط، وسوف يشهد أداؤها المزيد من التطور.. كانت في البداية مفرطة الحماس، ولكن بمجرد أن وجدت جيادا أخرى أمامها أصبحت أكثر هدوءا، وأظهرت اليوم قدرتها الجيدة على زيادة سرعتها، وإن كنت أعتقد أنها شغلت المقدمة مبكرا بعض الشيء، ومن المفترض أنها تستطيع المنافسة على مسافة 1400 متر أو مسافة 1600 متر ولكن ليس أطول من ذلك، وأريد أن يزداد شعورها بالثقة، وبالتالي يتطور أداؤها أكثر ويتحقق المزيد.
