Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized the14th Education Excellence Day Award ceremony, which took place at Doha Sheraton Hotel on Monday morning.
The ceremony was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers, and senior state officials.
HH the Amir honored the 71 winners of the Education Excellence Award, who are Master’s and PhD degree holders, university graduates and outstanding primary, preparatory and secondary school students, in addition to the winners in the categories of outstanding teacher and school.
A film about the 2021 Award and the winners in various categories was screened during the ceremony.
The ceremony also included a speech by HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi, and another speech delivered by the student Ahmed Abdullah Al Buainain, award winner in the category of Master’s degree, on behalf of the honored.
The Education Excellence Award Day ceremony for this year was organized amid precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of Covid-19.

الدوحة: تفضل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، فشمل برعايته الكريمة حفل جائزة يوم التميز العلمي في دورتها الرابعة عشرة، والذي أقيم بفندق شيراتون الدوحة، صباح اليوم.
حضر الحفل معالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الشيوخ والوزراء وكبار المسؤولين بالدولة.
وكرم سمو الأمير المفدى الفائزين بجائزة التميز العلمي لهذا العام والبالغ عددهم 71، ممثلين لحملة شهادتي الدكتوراه والماجستير، وخريجي الشهادة الجامعية، والطلاب المتميزين في المراحل الثانوية والإعدادية والابتدائية، إضافة إلى فئات المعلم المتميز والمدرسة المتميزة.
كما تخلل الحفل عرض فيلم حول الجائزة والفائزين بها هذا العام في مختلف فئاتها.
وتضمن الحفل كلمة لسعادة الدكتور محمد بن عبد الواحد الحمادي وزير التعليم والتعليم العالي، وكلمة باسم المتميزين المكرمين ألقاها الطالب أحمد عبدالله البوعينين الحائز على جائزة التميز العلمي من فئة حملة شهادة الماجستير.
وقد نظم حفل جائزة يوم التميز العلمي لهذا العام، وسط إجراءات احترازية وتدابير وقائية، للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد-19).
