Doha: Experts talked about common mistakes done by car owners that could cause serious damage to a car’s engine.
– Experts emphasized that the engine needs warming up in any season. For example, you must wait one minute in the summer before starting to drive.
– In winter, it is necessary to wait at least 3 minutes. which is sufficient for the pump to distribute oil in the engine and its parts that are subject to friction.
– Experts advise drivers to drive carefully in the winter for the first or two kilometers so that the gearbox and other engine components are warm.
– An engine overheating can also cause many malfunctions. One of the most common mistakes is negligence in washing the coolant. Failing to maintain it may cause water to boil while the vehicle is parked in traffic jams.
– Maintenance coolant errors can lead to engine failure. Experts advise replacing the antifreeze liquid every year, as it loses its properties after 2 or 3 years. Water should not be added to the coolant, which could cause it to malfunction, causing more serious engine problems.
– Experts do not recommend using all types of cleaning additives (recombinant materials), as some may not be useful for the engine.
– Experts said that it was all about classic internal combustion engines. They recommend using an engine tachometer, as it allows monitoring the engine’s operating systems.
– Experts recalled that, after testing the engine’s natural system and its average rotation speed, the car should use the natural system. They said that excessive pressure on the engine in the event of a high speed of rotation may lead to rapid wear and tear of the piston group and the need for general repair sometimes.
– The slow rotation of the engine may also damage it. In this case, the temperature in the combustion chambers does not always reach its optimum values, which leads to the appearance of carbon deposits on the walls of the cylinders and spark plugs, which can cause engine failure.

الدوحة: تحدث الخبراء عن أخطاء شائعة يرتكبها سائقو السيارات الخاصة قد تسبب أضرارا جسيمة لمحرك السيارة.
وأكد الخبراء بأن السيارة بحاجة إلى تسخين المحرك في أي موسم. فعلى سبيل المثال يجب الانتظار لمدة دقيقة واحدة صيفا قبل بدء السير.
أما في وقت الشتاء فمن الضروري الانتظار لمدة لا تقل عن 3 دقائق. ويكفي هذا الوقت كي توزع المضخة الزيت في المحرك وأجزائه التي تتعرض للاحتكاك.
وينصح الخبراء السائقين بقيادة السيارة في فصل الشتاء بحذر في أول كيلومتر أو كيلومترين من السير كي تتسخن علبة السرعة وغيرها من مكونات المحرك.
أما الإحماء المفرط للمحرك فيمكن أن يؤدي كذلك إلى أعطال كثيرة. ومن أكثر تلك الأخطاء شيوعا الإهمال في غسل المبرد. وقد يتسبب القصور في صيانته في غليان الماء أثناء وقوف السيارة في اختناقات المرور.
ويمكن أن تؤدي الأخطاء في صيانة المبرد إلى تعطل المحرك. وينصح الخبراء باستبدال السائل مانع التجمد كل عام، إذ أنه يفقد خصائصه بعد عامين أو 3 أعوام. ولا يجوز إضافة الماء إلى المبرد، ما يمكن إن يؤدي إلى تعطله، ثم يتسبب في ظهور مشاكل أكثر خطورة في المحرك.
ولا ينصح الخبراء باستخدام كل الأنواع من الإضافات المنظفة (مواد التأشيب)، إذ أن بعضها قد لا تكون مفيدة للمحرك.
وقال الخبراء إن الحديث يدور عن محركات الاحتراق الداخلي الكلاسيكية. ونصح الخبراء باستخدام مقياس سرعة دوران المحرك، إذ أنه يسمح بمتابعة أنظمة عمل المحرك.
وأعادوا إلى الأذهان أن السيارة يجب أن تستخدم بعد تجربتها النظام الطبيعي لعمل المحرك والسرعة المتوسطة لدورانه. وقالوا إن الضغط المفرط على المحرك في حال السرعة الكبيرة لدورانه قد يؤدي إلى سرعة استهلاك مجموعة المكابس وضرورة إصلاحه العام أحيانا.
أما السرعة البطيئة لدوران المحرك فقد تلحق كذلك ضررا به. وفي هذه الحالة فإن درجة الحرارة في غرف الاحتراق لا تصل دائما لقيمها المثلى، ما يؤدي إلى ظهور رواسب الكربون على جدران الأسطوانات وشمعات الإشعال، الأمر الذي يمكن أن يسبب تعطل المحرك.
