Qatar Airways restarted flights through Saudi airspace

Doha: Qatar Airways has started restarting a number of its flights through Saudi airspace. In this context, Qatar Airways announced the operation of the first scheduled flight from Doha to Johannesburg, South Africa, yesterday evening. Qatar Airways recently announced an increase in the number of its flights to many cities and countries of the world, including Arab countries, while continuing to operate its daily flights to many destinations around the world.
In this regard, and with the easing of travel restrictions, the Qatari carrier, according to a statement posted on its website recently, witnessed a remarkable increase in flight reservations due to travelers’ confidence in the national carrier of the State of Qatar, which helped more than 1.8 million travelers abroad to return to their countries during the Coronavirus crisis at a time when several other airlines have suspended operations.
It also launched strategic partnership agreements with a number of international airlines to facilitate their business through “Codeshare” agreements.

الدوحة: بدأت الخطوط الجوية القطرية بإعادة تشغيل عدد من رحلاتها عبر الأجواء السعودية.
وأعلنت (القطرية) في هذا السياق تشغيل أول رحلة مجدولة من الدوحة إلى مدينة جوهانسبرج في جنوب إفريقيا مساء أمس. وكانت (القطرية) قد أعلنت مؤخرا عن زيادة عدد من رحلاتها إلى العديد من مدن ودول العالم بما فيها دول عربية مع استمرارها في تشغيل رحلاتها اليومية إلى العديد من الوجهات حول العالم. وفي هذا الصدد ومع تخفيف القيود المفروضة على السفر، شهدت الناقلة القطرية، بحسب بيان بثته على موقعها الإلكتروني مؤخراً ارتفاعاً ملحوظاً في حجوزات الطيران وذلك لثقة المسافرين بالناقلة الوطنية لدولة قطر والتي ساعدت أكثر من 1.8 مليون مسافر في الخارج للعودة إلى بلدانهم خلال أزمة كورونا في وقت علّقت فيه العديد من شركات الطيران الأخرى عملياتها.
كما أطلقت اتفاقيات شراكة استراتيجية مع عدد من شركات الخطوط الجوية العالمية لتسهيل أعمالها باتفاقيات «الرمز المشترك».
