Doha: Qatar First Bank (QFB) has completed the acquisition of Waterway Plaza I, a class A+ office tower spanning more than 223,0000 square foot located in suburban Houston, Texas, USA.
Waterway Plaza I marks QFBs first acquisition for the year in the USA, following only by a matter of days the bank previous acquisition of the Lulu Al Messila Hypermarket in Qatar.
Growing ever more QFB income-generating real estate portfolio open to client investments, Waterway Plaza I has already attracted sizeable commitments from the banks trusted customer base and the investment will remain open for subscription until March.
Waterway Plaza I is an immaculate and truly stunning Class A+ building located in the Woodlands, the most desirable suburban area of Houston. الدوحة: أعلن بنك قطر الأول عن إتمام عملية الاستحواذ على /ووترواي بلازا 1/، وهو عبارة عن برج مكون من مكاتب وتبلغ مساحته أكثر من 223 الف قدم مربعة ويقع في ضواحي هيوستن، تكساس، في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
ويتميز المبنى بموقعه المتميز في وودلاندز، إحدى أهم الضواحي في مدينة هيوستن الأمريكية.
وتأتي هذه الصفقة الأولى من نوعها لهذا العام في الولايات المتحدة بعد أيام قليلة من قيام بنك قطر الأول بالاستحواذ على متجر لولو هايبرماركت المسيلة في قطر، إذ نجح البنك من خلال محفظته الاستثمارية العقارية المدرة للدخل، في جذب التزامات مالية كبيرة من قاعدة عملاء البنك الموثوق بها وسيظل الاستثمار مفتوحا للاكتتاب حتى شهر مارس المقبل.
ويعد العقار مقرا عالميا لشركة هانتسمان إنترناشيونال وهي شركة تصنيع متعددة الجنسيات، وتشغل هانتسمان عقار ووترواي بلازا منذ العام 2004 وتتولى صيانته وتحسينه باستمرار منذ ذلك الوقت.
وقال السيد عبدالرحمن توتونجي، الرئيس التنفيذي لبنك قطر الأول في تعليقه على هذا الاستحواذ: “استطعنا بالفعل جذب جزء كبير من الاستثمارات المالية الخاصة بالعرض فقط من خلال التحدث إلى العملاء، وذلك فقط في خلال أيام قليلة من بداية هذا العام الجديد وقبل أن نعلن عن ذلك رسميا في السوق”.
ويواصل بنك قطر الأول انتقاء أفضل الاستثمارات المدرة للدخل ليقدم لعملائه الموثوقين فرصا عالمية لم تكن متاحة عادة إلا لجهات الاستثمار المؤسسية الكبرى، حيث تتاح هذه الاستثمارات من خلال منصة متوافقة مع أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية.
