Doha: As cyber fraud spreads all over the world, suggesting that it has become a modern-day crime, we receive dozens of anonymous calls and messages requesting money transfers in exchange for fake services, trade or prizes.

So, what do you do with anonymous calls and messages?

According to its official Twitter account, the Ministry of Interior confirms that the following steps must be taken when we receive these annoying calls and messages:

• Blocking anonymous calls and not responding to them, whether they are on the phone or social communication apps.

• Blocking anonymous message numbers and not responding to them, whether they are on the phone or social networking programs.

• Do not respond to anonymous calls and messages requesting money transfers.

• Dealing with reliable financial banks in the country and not transferring money to anonymous persons or entities.
