“Mona Lisa” Rubik’s cube sold for 480,000 euros

The Mona Lisa painting by street artist Invader, made of 330 3D Rubik’s cube, was auctioned in Paris on Sunday for 480,000 euros.
And the auction house “Articorial” posted on its Twitter page: “The painting” Rubik Monalisa “(2005) was sold at the auction house for 520 thousand dollars, or about (480 thousand euros), four times the estimated cost.
Arcurial is dedicated to a complete auction of contemporary art, in which it will present works by major contemporary street artists.
“Invader”, whose real name is Frank Salamah, is known for the street “invasions” he made in more than 65 cities in 33 countries. He even created an artistic stream that summarizes his work as “Rubikobiya”.
“Rubik Monalisa” was the first piece in a series of works to re-present the most prominent paintings in the history of art, entitled “Rubik Master Pieces”.
بيعت لوحة موناليزا بحلة حديثة بعنوان “روبيك موناليزا” صممها إينفايدر وهو فنان شارع فرنسي، باستخدام 330 من مكعبات الروبيك ، بأكثر من 480 ألف يورو (نحو 520 ألف دولار أمريكي) ، في مزاد نظمته دار آركوريال في باريس.
وهذا العمل مصنوع بالكامل من مكعبات روبيك التي لاقت نجاحا كبيرا في الثمانينات.
وكان سعر هذه اللوحة التي أنجزت في العام 2005 مقدرا بين 120 ألف يورو و150 ألفا.
ويواكب بيع لوحة “روبيك موناليزا” إغلاق معرض للفنان ليوناردو دافنشي في متحف اللوفر، موطن موناليزا الحقيقية، وكان هذا المعرض قد أقيم بمناسبة الذكرى الخمسمئة لوفاة دافنشي فنان عصر النهضة.
وقد اشتهر إينفايدر، واسمه الحقيقي فرانك سلاما، بغزوات الشوارع التي أجراها في أكثر من 65 مدينة في 33 بلدا، حتى أنه استحدث تيارا فنيا يلخص أعماله باسم الروبيكوبية.
