Doha: The current period is witnessing an increasing demand for wedding processing offices dedicated to organizing and holding events such as preparing wedding sites i.e, tents, banquets, etc., to book and prepare weddings in various regions of the country, despite the permission to hold events amid calls by the Ministry of Health and adhere to the precautionary measures to reduce the emergence of a second wave of the Coronavirus in the country, however, according to citizens, wedding processing offices are striking these laws and procedures against the wall in terms of neglecting to conduct periodic examination of the workers coming from abroad, as these offices are concerned with providing videographers and photographers, in addition to providing those who provide services to the guests inside the wedding tents according to the customers’ requests.
In Al-Sharq tour with a number of wedding processing offices, it monitored the demand for reservations during this period after life gradually returned to normal and the restrictions were lifted in order to hold weddings and events, as some are preparing to book their wedding dates during the next summer from now, With their high concerns about the offices’ failure to implement the precautionary and preventive measures.
The concerned authorities in the state were demanded by citizens to impose supervision on wedding processing offices that take advantage of the seasons and the great demand for them to raise prices, as well as control them with regard to the measures taken by the state to combat the spread of the virus, noting that the cost of equipping a single tent reaches about 30 thousand riyals, not including services. The prices increase according to the required services, pointing out that the wedding office prices are the most expensive compared to neighboring countries.
Fawaz Al-Anzi: Wedding offices do not adhere to the precautionary measures.
Fawaz Al-Anzi stressed that the prices of our wedding catering offices are the most expensive in the region compared to the prices in neighboring countries, which confirms the existence of a defect that needs the intervention of the regulatory authorities to control the process of price manipulation, and that is by setting a price list for event tents according to the sizes and services.
He demanded that prices be set in wedding processing offices and obligated to limit the exploitation that citizens are subjected to by those offices that are unforgiving, and take advantage of the absence of control by setting appropriate prices for them and increasing them whenever they want to do so without any controls, especially during the summer season, when the large number of weddings and the increase in demand on these offices that are keen to raise prices in the summer, which is the wedding season.
Al-Anzi called on the concerned authorities to oblige the wedding processing offices to sterilize the tables and tents after each wedding, as those offices are currently transferring tents from one wedding to another without any sterilization of the tents from the inside or the chairs and tents furniture.
As for the employees of wedding processing offices or those who are assisted by them from abroad to provide services, these offices must conduct periodic checks for workers who deal with guests directly, as if any of them is infected with the Coronavirus, he may transmit the infection to all attendees.
Muhammad Al-Saqtari: There are no control at the wedding processing offices.
Muhammad Al-Saqtari said that there was no control over the wedding preparation offices, which led to the complete absence of precautionary measures, calling for obligating these offices to obtain health permits and certificates from the Ministry of Health proving that they are free of the virus, while the responsible authorities regulating the work of this sector with the supervision entrusted to it under the current circumstances.
Al-Saqtari called on the owners of parties and social events to ensure that the workers have a virus-free certificate from the moment of installing the tent, as well as on the day of the occasion with ensuring that the necessary sterilizers and disinfectants are provided inside the tents, indicating the need for the competent authorities in the state to directly supervise the work of these offices, tents and services that are contracted with the owner or occasion, and it is stressed that the attendance is committed by applying social distancing and wearing masks, in order to ensure the safety and health of all attendees, including guests and workers.
Al-Naimi: Wedding offices are without supervision and are manipulating with prices
Rashid Nahar Al-Naimi said: The wedding catering offices manipulate prices without being monitored, as they are allowed to determine the price it deems appropriate, and the evidence for this is that the prices are not fixed and differ from one office to another on the same specifications of the required tents and the same sizes as well, asking the concerned authorities to specify a limit to the profits of wedding preparation offices away from the excessive exploitation to which the citizens are exposed.
Al-Naimi believes that there is no commitment to precautionary measures while inside the wedding tents, where the gatherings, in addition to that those who provide services inside the tents do not follow the same offices, and they are not examined periodically to ensure their safety and not getting infected with the Coronavirus.
He pointed out that most of these offices take advantage of the seasons to raise prices to their highest levels, as is the current situation after the return to normal life and holding events and weddings, which prompted the same offices to be exploited significantly, and prices also increase during the summer, which is the main wedding season that awaits those offices to double their profits.
Nasser Yousef: the exploitation of citizens in the events
Nasser Yusuf explained what he observed during the recent period , the instability of the number of cases in the country as a result of the high number of infection’s cases with Coronavirus, due to several reasons , including the lack of commitment to social distancing, and the establishment of weddings and other social events without taking into account procedures tired in the state of the gatherings.
He pointed out that the prices of wedding offices in the country are the most expensive compared to other countries, and this is due to the lack of price determination by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, calling for tightening control over wedding processing offices and determining the price value according to each tent, its sizes and specifications, provided that the ministry supervises monitoring these offices continuously.
Youssef also called on wedding processing offices to sterilize tents from the inside after each wedding, in order to ensure safety for all, as what we see now is clear negligence by those offices and their lack of compliance with the precautionary measures set by the health authorities in the state.
Habib Khalfan: The prices of tents are on fire
Habib Khalfan said: The absence of supervision of wedding processing offices is a major reason for continuing to exploit citizens until the moment, calling for educating citizens and rejecting the exploitation they are exposed to by tent processing offices, and searching for suitable prices for them, explaining that some Customers are satisfied with the exploitation of these offices for them, which prompted them to raise prices, and we ask the concerned authorities to develop effective solutions to this problem that a large number of our youth have been suffering from for years and the situation is still the same until now. He pointed out that the prices of renting tents are on fire, and they need a serious pause by the competent authorities to deter those offices that deal greedily with citizens, taking advantage of the absence of laws to deter them and oblige them to adhere to the prices.

الدوحة: تشهد الفترة الحالية اقبالا متزايدا على مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح المخصصة في تنظيم وإقامة المناسبات التي تتمثل في تجهيز مواقع الاعراس مثل الخيام والولائم وغيرها، للحجز والاستعداد لإقامة الأفراح في مختلف مناطق الدولة، وبالرغم من السماح في إقامة المناسبات وسط دعوات من قبل وزارة الصحة للتقيد بالإجراءات الاحترازية للحد من ظهور موجة ثانية من فيروس كورونا في البلاد، إلا أن مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح، وفقا لمواطنين، تضرب بهذه القوانين والإجراءات عرض الحائط من حيث إهمالها إجراء الفحص الدوري للعاملين الذين تستعين بهم من الخارج، حيث إن هذه المكاتب معنية بتوفير مصوري الفيديو والفوتوغراف، بالإضافة إلى توفير من يقومون بتقديم الخدمات للضيوف داخل خيام الأعراس على حسب طلبات الزبائن.
وفي جولة “للشرق” بعدد من مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح رصدت الإقبال على الحجوزات خلال هذه الفترة بعد عودة الحياة إلى طبيعتها بشكل تدريجي ورفع القيود رغبة بإقامة الاعراس والمناسبات، حيث ان البعض يستعدون لحجز مواعيد أعراسهم خلال الصيف المقبل من الآن، مع ارتفاع مخاوفهم من عدم التزام المكاتب بتطبيق الاجراءات الاحترازية والوقائية.
وطالب مواطنون الجهات المعنية في الدولة فرض رقابة على مكاتب تجهيز الافراح التي تستغل المواسم والاقبال الكبير عليها برفع الأسعار، وكذلك رقابتها فيما يتعلق بالتدابير التي اتخذتها الدولة لمكافحة تفشي الفيروس، مشيرين إلى أن تكلفة تجهيز الخيمة الواحدة تصل إلى قرابة 30 ألف ريال غير شاملة الخدمات، وتزيد الأسعار على حسب الخدمات المطلوبة، لافتين إلى ان أسعار مكاتب الأفراح تعتبر الاغلى مقارنة بالدول المجاورة.
فواز العنزي: مكاتب الأفراح لا تلتزم بالإجراءات الاحترازية
أكد فواز العنزي على ان اسعار مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح لدينا الأغلى في المنطقة مقارنة بالأسعار في الدول المجاورة، وهو ما يؤكد على وجود خلل ما يحتاج إلى تدخل الجهات الرقابية لضبط عملية التلاعب بالأسعار، ويكون ذلك بتحديد قائمة أسعار لخيام المناسبات بحسب المقاسات والخدمات.
وطالب بضبط الاسعار في مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح وإلزامها بالحد من الاستغلال الذي يتعرض له المواطنون من قبل تلك المكاتب التي لا ترحم، وتستغل غياب الرقابة عنها بوضع الأسعار المناسبة لها وتزيدها متى ما أرادت ذلك دون أي ضوابط، خاصة خلال فصل الصيف، حيث كثرة الأعراس وزيادة الطلب على هذه المكاتب التي تحرص على رفع الأسعار في فصل الصيف وهو موسم الأعراس.
ودعا العنزي الجهات المعنية إلى الزام مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح بتعقيم الطاولات والخيام بعد كل عرس، حيث ان تلك المكاتب تقوم حاليا على نقل الخيام من عرس لآخر دون اي تعقيم للخيام من الداخل او الكراسي والأثاث الخاص بالخيام.
أما فيما يخص خضوع العاملين لدى مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح او الذين تستعين بهم من الخارج لتقديم خدمات، فلابد على هذه المكاتب ان تجري فحصاً دورياً للعمال الذين يتعاملون مع الضيوف بشكل مباشر، حيث إنه في حال إصابة أي منهم بفيروس كورونا ربما يتسبب بنقل العدوى إلى كافة الحضور.
محمد السقطري: لا توجد ضوابط لدى مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح
قال محمد السقطري عدم وجود رقابة على مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح الأمر الذي أدى إلى الغياب التام للإجراءات الاحترازية، مطالبا بإلزام هذه المكاتب باستخراج تصاريح وشهادات صحية من قبل وزارة الصحة تثبت خلوهم من الفيروس، فيما تقوم الجهات المسؤولة عن تنظيم عمل هذا القطاع بالرقابة المنوطة بها في ظل الظروف الراهنة.
ودعا السقطري أصحاب الحفلات والمناسبات الاجتماعية التأكد من وجود شهادة الخلو من الفيروس لدى العمال منذ لحظة تركيب الخيمة، وكذلك يوم المناسبة مع التأكد من توفير المعقمات والمطهرات اللازمة داخل الخيام، مشيرا إلى ضرورة
أن تقوم الجهات المختصة بالدولة بالإشراف المباشر على عمل هذه المكاتب والخيام والخدمات التي يتم التعاقد عليها مع صاحب العرس أو المناسبة، كما يتم التأكيد على الحضور على الالتزام بتطبيق التباعد الاجتماعي ولبس الكمامات، وذلك لضمان سلامة وصحة كل الحاضرين من ضيوف وعاملين.
راشد النعيمي: مكاتب الأفراح بلا رقابة وتتلاعب بالأسعار
قال راشد نهار النعيمي: إن مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح تتلاعب بالأسعار بدون حسيب او رقيب، حيث يُتاح لها تحديد السعر الذي تراه مناسبا، والدليل على ذلك ان الأسعار غير ثابتة وتختلف من مكتب لآخر على نفس مواصفات الخيام المطلوبة وبنفس المقاسات أيضا، مطالبا الجهات المعنية تحديد سقف أرباح مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح بعيدا عن الاستغلال المفرط الذي يتعرض له المواطنون.
ويرى النعيمي انه لا يوجد اي التزام بالإجراءات الاحترازية خلال التواجد داخل خيام الافراح، حيث التجمعات، علاوة على ان من يقدمون خدمات داخل الخيام لا يتبعون ذات المكاتب، ولا يتم فحصهم بشكل دوري للتأكد من سلامتهم وعدم اصابتهم بفيروس كورونا.
ولفت إلى ان غالبية هذه المكاتب تستغل المواسم برفع الأسعار إلى اعلى مستوياتها، كما هو الوضع الراهن بعد عودة الحياة الى طبيعتها واقامة المناسبات والاعراس، الامر الذي دفع ذات المكاتب الى الاستغلال بشكل ملحوظ، وتزيد الأسعار أيضا خلال فصل الصيف الذي يعتبر موسم الاعراس الرئيسي الذي تنتظره تلك المكاتب لتحقيق أرباحها بشكل مضاعف.
ناصر يوسف: استغلال المواطنين في المناسبات
أوضح ناصر يوسف أنه لوحظ خلال الفترة الأخيرة عدم استقرار عدد الاصابات في الدولة نتيجة ارتفاع عدد حالات الاصابة بفيروس كورونا، ويعود ذلك الى عدة اسباب منها عدم التزام بالتباعد الاجتماعي، واقامة الأعراس والمناسبات الاجتماعية الأخرى دون مراعاة للاجراءات المتعبة في حالة التجمعات.
ولفت إلى أن اسعار مكاتب الافراح في الدولة الاغلى مقارنة بالدول الاخرى، ويعود ذلك إلى عدم تحديد الاسعار من قبل وزارة التجارة والصناعة، مطالبا تشديد الرقابة على مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح وتحديد قيمة الاسعار على حسب كل خيمة ومقاساتها ومواصفاتها، على ان تشرف الوزارة على مراقبة تلك المكاتب باستمرار.
كما طالب يوسف مكاتب تجهيز الافراح بضرورة تعقيم الخيام من الداخل بعد كل عرس وذلك بهدف ضمان السلامة للجميع، حيث ان ما نراه الآن هو إهمال واضح من قبل تلك المكاتب وعدم تقيدها بالإجراءات الاحترازية الموضوعة من قبل الجهات الصحية بالدولة.
حبيب خلفان: أسعار الخيام نار
قال حبيب خلفان: إن غياب الرقابة عن مكاتب تجهيز الأفراح سبب رئيسي في استمرار استغلالها للمواطنين حتى اللحظة، داعيا إلى توعية المواطنين ورفض الاستغلال الذي يتعرضون له من قبل مكاتب تجهيز الخيام، والبحث عن الاسعار المناسبة لهم، موضحا ان بعض الزبائن راضون عن استغلال هذه المكاتب لهم، وهو ما دفعها الى رفع الاسعار، ونطالب من الجهات المعنية وضع الحلول الناجعة لهذه المشكلة التي يعاني منها عدد كبير من شبابنا منذ سنوات ولازال الوضع على حاله حتى الآن. وأشار إلى ان أسعار تأجير الخيام نار، وتحتاج إلى وقفة جادة من قبل جهات الاختصاص لردع تلك المكاتب التي تتعامل بجشع مع المواطنين مستغلين عدم وجود قوانين تردعهم وتلزمهم بالتقيد بالأسعار.
