Demolishing temporary bridge and underpass on Al Luqta Street and Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor
إزالة الجسر المؤقت وإغلاق النفق على شارع اللقطة ومحور صباح الأحمد
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces it will remove of the temporary bridge on Al Luqta Street and close the tunnel on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor, linking Al Luqta and Al Gharrafa. Traffic will be diverted to both Al Gharrafa Interchange and the Tilted Interchange, starting Friday 27 March 2020, to complete Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor works.
During the closure, designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, road users coming from Al Luqta to Al Gharrafa via Sabah Al-Ahmad Corridor should turn right onto Al Luqta Street and then U-turn at Al Gharrafa Interchange known as Immigration Interchange then turn right to reach their destinations.
In addition, road users coming from Al Gharrafa via Sabah Al-Ahmad Corridor in the direction of Al Luqta should turn right onto Al Luqta Street and U-turn at the Tilted Interchange, and then turn right to get to their destinations.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs providing users with advance notice of the new road layout and requests all road users to abide by the new speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن إزالة الجسر المؤقت على شارع اللقطة ومحور صباح الأحمد وإغلاق النفق الذي يربط بين اللقطة والغرافة وتحويل الحركة المرورية إلى كل من تقاطع الغرافة (الجوازات) والتقاطع المائل اعتباراً من يوم الجمعة 27 مارس 2020 بهدف استكمال أعمال محور صباح الأحمد.
وخلال فترة التحويل المروري، الذي يأتي بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور، سوف يتعين على القادمين من اللقطة عبر محور صباح الأحمد في اتجاه الغرافة، الانعطاف يمينا على شارع اللقطة ثم الدوران للخلف عند تقاطع الغرافة المعروف بتقاطع الجوازات ثم الانعطاف يمينا إلى وجهاتهم.
كما يتوجب على القادمين من شارع الغرافة في اتجاه اللقطة عبر محور صباح الأحمد الانعطاف يمينا على شارع اللقطة ثم الدوران للخلف عند تقاطع المائل ثم الانعطاف يمينا لوجهاتهم.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة في الطرق البديلة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
