The most prominent decisions of the weekly cabinet meeting

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani chaired Wednesday the cabinet’s regular meeting held at its seat at the Amiri Diwan.

Following the meeting, HE Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi said following statement:

At the beginning of the meeting, the Cabinet listened to the explanation provided by HE Minister of Public Health on the latest developments to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and the council affirmed the continuation of work with regard to the precautionary measures that have been taken in order to combat this pandemic.

The Cabinet also listened to the presentation made by HE Minister of Finance on the progress of work on the unified site for government tenders and HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior instructed the necessity of the commitment of government agencies and the bodies that fund their budget from the State to announce the tenders and auctions on the site, with the aim of achieving justice, transparency and equal opportunities, and providing information to investors on the needs of government agencies.

After that, the Cabinet considered the topics on the agenda as follows:

First – Approval of a draft memorandum of understanding in the field of diplomatic training between the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the State of Qatar and the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Georgia.

Second – The Cabinet reviewed the following issues and took appropriate decisions in regard:

1 – The Ministry of Transport and Communications letter on the policy framework document for cloud computing.

The cloud computing policy framework has been developed to provide high-quality services to individuals, companies and institutions, significantly increase efficiency and growth, and to ensure reliable access to all local and international users alike, based on the TRAs strategy to support the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Second National Development Strategy.

2 – Results of the 17th meeting of the Ministerial Committee of Civil Service and Administrative Development of the GCC.

3 – Results of the 340th session of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Governing Body.

4 – Results of the 7th Iran-Qatar Joint Economic Commission meeting.

الدوحة: ترأس معالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، الاجتماع العادي الذي عقده المجلس ظهر يوم اللأمس بمقره في الديوان الأميري.

وعقب الاجتماع، أدلى سعادة الدكتور عيسى بن سعد الجفالي النعيمي، وزير العدل والقائم بأعمال وزير الدولة لشؤون مجلس الوزراء بما يلي:

في بداية الاجتماع، استمع مجلس الوزراء إلى الشرح الذي قدمه سعادة وزير الصحة العامة حول آخر المستجدات والتطورات للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا /كوفيد – 19/، وأكد المجلس على استمرار العمل بما تم اتخاذه من إجراءات وتدابير احترازية في سبيل مكافحة هذا الوباء.

كما استمع المجلس إلى العرض الذي قدمه سعادة وزير المالية عن سير العمل في الموقع الموحد للمناقصات الحكومية، ووجه معالي رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية بضرورة التزام الجهات الحكومية والجهات التي تمول موازنتها من الدولة بالإعلان عن المناقصات والمزايدات على هذا الموقع، بهدف تحقيق العدالة والشفافية وتكافؤ الفرص، وتوفير المعلومات للمستثمرين عن احتياجات الجهات الحكومية.

وبعد ذلك نظر مجلس الوزراء في الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول الأعمال على النحو التالي:

أولا – الموافقة على مشروع مذكرة تفاهم في مجال تدريب الدبلوماسيين بين المعهد الدبلوماسي بوزارة الخارجية في دولة قطر ومعهد ليفان ميكيلادزي للتدريب والبحث الدبلوماسي بوزارة الخارجية في جورجيا.

ثانيا – استعرض مجلس الوزراء الموضوعات التالية واتخذ بشأنها القرارات المناسبة:

1 – كتاب وزارة المواصلات والاتصالات بشأن وثيقة إطار عمل سياسة الحوسبة السحابية.

وقد تم وضع إطار عمل سياسة الحوسبة السحابية لتقديم خدمات عالية الجودة للأفراد والشركات والمؤسسات، وزيادة الكفاءة والنمو بشكل كبير، ولضمان توفير الوصول الموثوق لكل المستخدمين المحليين والدوليين على حد سواء، وذلك انطلاقاً من استراتيجية هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات لدعم أهداف رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030 واستراتيجية التنمية الوطنية الثانية.

2 – نتائج الاجتماع (17) لوزراء ورؤساء أجهزة الخدمة المدنية والتنمية الإدارية بدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية.

3 – نتائج الدورة (340) لمجلس إدارة منظمة العمل الدولية.

4 – نتائج الاجتماع السابع للجنة القطرية الإيرانية المشتركة.
