27 Artists Compete in Katara Horse Drawing Competition

Doha: The second edition of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival (KIAHF 2022) will host the Katara Horse Drawing Competition, in which about 27 fine artists from citizens and residents will participate, where they compete to present their artistic methods to express one of the various images of the Arabian horse, all taken earlier in the festival.

The competition gave each artist the freedom to choose their own style of inspiration for their painting, either through his artistic vision, his creative style or the different types of colors he chooses, such as oil color, water color, acrylic, pastel, lead or charcoal, with the aim of igniting a spirit of competition between the participating artists, to present their creativity and ideas in an impressive stimulating atmosphere that combines different tastes and benefit from the diversity of expertise, experiences and new and innovative methods and contributes to its development, which results in creative works of diverse cultures and visions, as well as different styles and ideas.

The Katara Horse Drawing competition will continue until the conclusion of the second edition of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival on Feb.12, 2022, as it specified its conditions that the size of each painting must be (80 * 80 cm) at least. It also required that the participant be 18 years or above. The artworks participating at the end of the competition will be subject to judging by a special committee of artists and critics in order to select the winning paintings in the first three places. The first place winner will receive QR30,000; second place, QR20,000; and third place, QR10,000.

The second edition of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival continues its activities and events, as tomorrow will be set for auction. The entry of horses will start at 9 am until 12 pm, while the horse inspection will extend from midday until 4 pm in order to receive the bid numbers and pay the insurance amount from 3 pm. The auction will start at 6 pm.

الدوحة: تحتضن النسخة الثانية لمهرجان كتارا الدولي للخيل العربية مسابقة خاصة برسم الخيول العربية يشارك فيها نحو 27 فنانا تشكيليا من المواطنين والمقيمين، حيث يتنافسون في تقديم أساليبهم الفنية للتعبير عن صورة من الصور المختلفة للجواد العربي، التقطت جميعها في وقت سابق للمهرجان.

ومنحت المسابقة كل فنان حرية اختيار الأسلوب الخاص به لاستلهام لوحته، سواء من خلال رؤيته الفنية أو أسلوبه الابداعي أو أنواع الألوان المختلفة التي يختارها، كالزيتي والمائي والاكريليك والباستيل أو الرصاص والفحم .. وذلك بهدف إضفاء روح المنافسة بين الفنانين المشاركين، ليقدموا إبداعاتهم وأفكارهم في أجواء تحفيزية مبهرة تجمع بين مختلف الأذواق وتستفيد من تنوع الخبرات والتجارب والأساليب الجديدة والمبتكرة وتسهم في تطويرها، وهو ما يثمر عن أعمال إبداعية متنوعة الثقافات والرؤى، ومختلفة الأساليب والأفكار.

وتستمر مسابقة رسم الخيول العربية حتى اختتام النسخة الثانية لمهرجان كتارا الدولي للخيل العربية في 12 فبراير الجاري، حيث حددت شروطها بأن يكون مقاس كل لوحة (80*80 سم) على الأقل، كما اشترطت أن يكون عمر المشارك من 18 سنة فما فوق ، وسوف تخضع الأعمال الفنية المشاركة في نهاية المسابقة للتحكيم من قبل لجنة خاصة من الفنانين والنقاد، وذلك لاختيار اللوحات الفائزة بالمراكز الثلاثة الاولى ، حيث سينال الفائز بالمركز الأول جائزة بقيمة 30 ألف ريال، والثاني 20 ألف ريال، والثالث 10 آلاف ريال .

ويواصل مهرجان كتارا الدولي للخيل العربية في نسخته الثانية فعالياته وأنشطته، حيث سيخصص يوم غد للمزاد. إذ سيبدأ دخول الخيل على الساعة 9 صباحا و لغاية 12 ظهرا ، بينما ستمتد معاينة الخيل من منتصف النهار الى غاية 4 عصرا ليتم استلام ارقام المزايدة ودفع مبلغ التأمين من الساعة 3 عصرا. على أن يبدأ المزاد عند الساعة 6 مساءً.
