Aluminium towers design revealed in Lusail .. A new architectural masterpiece

Doha: Foster unveiled the new design of its architectural masterpiece, a collection of aluminum towers in The City of Lusail. According to a company statement, published on its website, the Aluminium Towers in Lusail is a historic project in Qatar, designed within a new central business area in the city consisting of 4 high-rise buildings. The project covers an area of 1.1 million square meters and houses the headquarters of Qatar National Bank, Qatar Central Bank and Qatar Investment Authority, as well as several major companies including Qatari Diar, as well as the establishment of a modern downtown area. 

Foster says the project will be completed before the 2022 World Cup kicks off in Qatar. The project is located at the end of the high street connecting the new football stadium to the Corniche, the first two towers are 70 storeys high, while the other two towers are 50 storeys high, all arranged symmetrically around a central square. The aluminium-clad tower facades are designed with prominent profiles that wrap around the building, to shade the glass from the sun, while preserving the exterior and daylight.

The project also includes modern, customized cooling and ventilation systems, efficient LED lighting, advanced automatic controls that contribute to reducing energy, and water is recycled, rainwater and capacitors are recycled and reused on site for irrigation, and the project is characterized by the use of the lowest energy and carbon emissions. 

Below the towers are shops, cafes and restaurants.

الدوحة: كشفت شركة فوستر عن التصميم الجديد لتحفتها المعمارية، وهي مجموعة أبراج من الألمونيوم في مدينة لوسيل .

ووفق بيان للشركة، نشرته على موقعها الإلكتروني، فتعد أبراج الألمونيوم في لوسيل مشروع تاريخي في قطر، تم تصميمه ضمن منطقة أعمال مركزية جديدة في المدينة ويتكون من 4 مبان شاهقة. 

وتبلغ مساحة المشروع 1.1 مليون متر مربع، وتحتضن المقر الرئيسي لبنك قطر الوطني ومصرف قطر المركزي وجهاز قطر للاستثمار إلى جانب العديد من الشركات الكبرى بما في ذلك شركة الديار القطرية، بالإضافة إلى إنشاء منطقة حديثة وسط المدينة. 

وتقول فوستر إنه سيتم الانتهاء من المشروع قبل انطلاق مونديال 2022 بدولة قطر.

ويقع المشروع في نهاية الشارع الكبير الذي يربط ملعب كرة القدم الجديد بالكورنيش، ويبلغ ارتفاع البرجين الأولين 70 طابقاً، في حين يبلغ ارتفاع البرجين الآخرين 50 طابقاً ، وجميعها مرتبة بشكل متماثل حول ساحة مركزية.

وتم تصميم واجهات البرج المكسوة بالألمونيوم مع بروفايلات بارزة تلتف حول المبنى، لتظلل الزجاج من أشعة الشمس ، مع الحفاظ على المناظر الخارجية وضوء النهار .

كما يتضمن المشروع أنظمة تبريد وتهوية حديثة يتم التحكم فيها حسب الطلب وإضاءة LED فعالة وأدوات تحكم أوتوماتيكية متقدمة تساهم في تقليل الطاقة كما يتم إعادة تدوير المياه مياه الأمطار والمكثفات وإعادة استخدامها في الموقع للري، ويتميز المشروع باستخدام أقل طاقة وانبعاثات للكربون . 

وأسفل الأبراج، تقع المتاجر والمقاهي والمطاعم .
