Doha: Qatar condemned the explosion that took place near a market in the city of Sheikh Zuweid in North Sinai, Egypt, killing four security personnel and injuring a number of civilians.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar’s firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.
The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims’ families, and the people of Egypt, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.
أعربت دولة قطر عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين للتفجير الذي وقع قرب سوق بمدينة “الشيخ زويد” بمحافظة شمال سيناء المصرية، وأدى إلى سقوط أربعة قتلى من قوات الأمن وإصابة عدد من المدنيين.
وجددت وزارة الخارجية، في بيان اليوم، موقف دولة قطر الثابت من رفض العنف والإرهاب مهما كانت الدوافع والأسباب.
وعبر البيان عن تعازي دولة قطر لذوي الضحايا وللشعب المصري، وتمنياتها للجرحى بالشفاء العاجل
