Doha: The feelings of joy were mixed with tears as Saudi families greet their Qatari brothers and relatives with hugs and flowers, the passengers of the first Qatari plane to arrive at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
After nearly 3 and a half years of separation, the arrival hall at King Khalid Airport witnessed the joys of the arrival of the passengers of the first Qatari plane, while not everyone waited to go home to express the joy of the reuniting of the families between the two brotherly countries.
Qatari travellers told Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ekhbariya tv channel that they are happy and feel that they are among their families after arriving in the kingdom from Qatar.
The television report showed how happy Qatari travellers are to arrive in the Kingdom, as the first passengers on Qatar Airways.
Earlier today, Qatar Airways announced the resumption of flights to Riyadh today with a daily flight to King Khalid International Airport, days after the announcement of the opening of the land, sea and air borders between Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
The national carrier posted a tweet with a picture attached on its account, which reads: “Qatar Airways passengers boarding the departing flight to King Khalid Airport in Riyadh after the reopening of the border with Qatar.”
Qatar Airways also posted a video of the moment Qatar airways’ first plane took off from Doha’s Hamad International Airport to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh after the skies opened between Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ekhbariya tv channel also reported the arrival of the first Qatari flights to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
According to the channel, the first flight of Qatar Airways arrived at 3.10 Riyadh time, and indicated that the first flight of Saudi Arabian Airlines from Riyadh to Doha at 4.40 Riyadh time, and the Saudi Airlines will fly from Jeddah to Doha later.

الدوحة: امتزجت مشاعر الفرح بالدموع.. مع استقبال العائلات السعودية بالأحضان والورود لأشقائهم وأقاربهم القطريين، من ركاب أول طائرة قطرية تصل إلى مطار الملك خالد الدولي بالرياض.
فبعد نحو 3 سنوات ونصف من الفراق، شهدت صالة الوصول بمطار الملك خالد، أفراحاً بوصول ركاب أول طائرة قطرية إليه، فيما لم ينتظر الجميع الذهاب للمنازل للتعبير عن الفرح بالتئام العائلات الواحدة بين البلدين الشقيقيين .
وقال مسافرون قطريون، لـ “قناة الإخبارية السعودية”، إنهم سعداء وأنهم يشعرون بأنهم وسط أهلهم وعائلاتهم، وذلك بعد وصولهم إلى المملكة قادمين من قطر.
وأوضح التقرير التليفزيوني مدى سعادة المسافرين القطريين بوصولهم إلى المملكة، كأول مسافرين على متن الخطوط الجوية القطرية.
وفي وقت سابق اليوم، أعلنت الخطوط الجوية القطرية استئناف رحلاتها اليوم إلى الرياض بواقع رحلة يوميا إلى مطار الملك خالد الدولي، وذلك بعد أيام من الإعلان عن فتح الحدود البرية والبحرية والجوية بين دولة قطر والمملكة العربية السعودية.
ونشرت الناقلة الوطنية على حسابها تغريدة مرفقة بصورة قالت فيها:” مسافري الخطوط الجوية القطرية اثناء الصعود للطائرة المغادرة إلى مطار الملك خالد في الرياض بعد اعادة فتح الحدود مع دولة قطر”.
كما نشرت القطرية فيديو عن لحظة إقلاع أول طائرة تابعة لـ الخطوط الجوية القطرية من مطار حمد الدولي في الدوحة نحو مطار الملك خالد الدولي في الرياض بعد فتح الأجواء بين قطر والسعودية.
كما أفادت قناة “الإخبارية” السعودية بوصول أولى الرحلات القطرية لمطار الملك خالد الدولي بالرياض.
ووفق القناة، وصلت الرحلة الأولى للقطرية في الساعة 3.10 بتوقيت الرياض، وأشارت إلى أن الرحلة الأولى للخطوط الجوية السعودية من الرياض إلى الدوحة في الساعة 4.40 دقيقة بتوقيت الرياض ، وستسير الشركة السعودية من جدة للدوحة في وقت لاحق.
