Doha: Al Sadd beat Al Sailiya 8-0 in Week 13 of the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League at the Al Sadd Stadium on Thursday.
Baghdad Bounedjahs four goals did the trick for Al Sadd (23rd, 80th, 86th and 89th minutes). Nam Tae-Hee (36th and 54th minutes), Ali Asad (50th minute) and Santiago Cazorla (61st minute) also scored for Al Sadd, who kept their unbeaten run at the top of the table with 35 points following their 11th victory.
Al Sailiya remained on 15 points after suffering their sixth defeat.
Both sides looked to attack from the start. Rodrigo Tabata, after receiving a long cross from his half of the pitch, settled in front of the Al Sailiya box and fired a powerful shot that was parried away by keeper Claude Amine in the seventh minute.
Al Sailiya also produced a similar threatening move when Abdulqadir Ilyas, under pressure from Pedro Miguel near his own box, used his toe end to send a curling shot towards Al Sadd keeper Meshaal Barsham five minutes later.
In another quality move, Abdulqadir backheeled a short cross to Mohammed Rajeb stationed with open space to shoot near the Al Sadd box. The tall Al Sailiya striker after a couple of steps forward – drilled a left-footed shot that sailed past the goalpost to the right of keeper Meshaal.
In the 17th minute, Al Sadds Nam, after a short tap from Bounedjah, fired a top shot that narrowly sailed past the left Al Sailiya goalpost. However, Al Sadd soon opened the scoring after a keepers fumble.
Ali Asad charged into the Al Sailiya box and quickly slipped in a low show between the legs of Mostafa Hamid – to the right of keeper Amine who reached the ball with relative eased but fumbled with his collection and lost control. The loose ball popped and landed near ever-alert Bounedjah who wasted no time and fired a right-footed shot into the net from close range.
In the 34th minute, Cazorla found good pace and angle on his powerful shot from the edge of the box, but Al Sailiya keeper Amine did well to parry the ball. Amin, however, could do little when Al Sadd strike force combined well to find the net in the 36th minute.
Bounedjah, after receiving a cross while being stationed on the edge of the Al Sailiya box, found Nam with a neat short cross. The Korean arrived with slick pace to deflect the ball with his left foot from close range with only keeper Amine to beat.
Al Sadd carried their momentum into the second half when Ali Asad showed little slackness to score the third goal for the Amir Cup champions. Bounedjah headed the ball off a corner kick, but the deflection hit the Al Sailiya crossbar. The ball bounced back into play and Ali Asad slipped in a shot from close range in the 50th minute.
Bounedjah, showing great form, assisted once again for the fourth goal by picking out Nam inside the box. The Korean drilled the ball into the net from close range. Shortly, Al Sadd jumped to a 5-0 cushion when Cazorla expertly deflected a left-footed shot to the right of goalkeeper.
In the 65th minute, Hassan Al Haydous also found the net for Al Sadd, but his effort was declared off-side. Bounedjah fired a shot from the edge of the box to the left of keeper Amin for his second of the match.
Bounedjah deflected a cross into the net to complete his hat-trick and Al Sadds seventh goal, and then drilled one more past the keeper for his fourth of the evening.

سجل أهداف السد بغداد بونجاح في الدقائق 23 و80 و86 و89، ونام تايهي في الدقيقتين 36 و54، وعلي أسد في الدقيقة 50، وسانتي كازورلا في الدقيقة 61.
وبهذا الفوز، حصد السد 3 نقاط هامة عزز بها موقعه في الصدارة برصيد 35 نقطة جمعها من 11 انتصارا وتعادلين، في المقابل مني السيلية بالهزيمة السادسة في الدوري بعد ان حقق 4 انتصارات و3 تعادلات وتجمد رصيده عند 15 نقطة في المركز الثامن.
وكانت الجولة الماضية شهدت فوز السد على الخريطيات بخماسية نظيفة، وتغلب السيلية على الريان بثنائية نظيفة.
وسيواجه السد في الجولة المقبلة فريق الدحيل، فيما يتبارى السيلية مع الخريطيات.
جاءت مباراة السد والسيلية قوية ومثيرة للأول الذي ضغط على منافسه منذ البداية وقاد لاعبوه العديد من الهجمات تمكن اثرها من تخطي منافسه بثمانية أهداف دون رد.
وشهدت انطلاقة الشوط الاول ضغطا مستمرا من فريق السد الذي سعى لافتتاح النتيجة منذ البداية وتمكن من الوصول لشباك السيلية في الدقيقة 23 بواسطة لاعبه بغداد بونجاح بعد متابعته كرة مررها هاشم علي عبداللطيف لعلي اسد الذي سددها لكن حارس السيلية كلود امين ابعدها ليلتقطها بغداد بونجاح ويسكنها الشباك معلنا عن تقدم فريقه بهدف دون رد.
وأمام ضعف صفوف السيلية، سعى السد لتسجيل الهدف الثاني، وتمكن من ذلك في الدقيقة 36 بواسطة لاعبه الكوري نام تايهي بعد تلقيه كرة عرضية من بغداد بونجاح سددها قوية في شباك السيلية معلنا عن ثاني الأهداف لفريقه.
وتواصلت المحاولات من جانب السد في الدقائق الاخيرة للفترة الأولى وكاد ردريجو تباتا ان يضيف الهدف الثالث للسد لكن تسديدته مرت بجوار المرمى لينتهي الشوط الاول بتقدم السد على السيلية بهدفين دون رد.
ومع انطلاق الشوط الثاني، واصل السد ضغطه على منافسه، وتمكن لاعبه علي أسد من تسجيل الهدف الثالث في الدقيقة 50، بعد عرضية هاشم علي من الجانب الايمن والتي قابلها بونجاح برأسه لتصطدم بعارضة السيلية، قبل أن يكملها علي أسد بقدمه في الشباك، محرزا الهدف الثالث للسد.
وواصل السد عروضه القوية، وفي الدقيقة 54 أضاف الهدف الرابع بواسطة لاعبه نام تايهي بعد تبادل للكرة بين ردريجو تباتا وبغداد بونجاح، قبل ان تصل الكرة الى نام تايهي والذي وضعها على يمين الحارس كلود أمين مسجلا الهدف الرابع للسد.
ولم يكتف السد بذلك بل واصل لاعبوه تهديد مرمى السيلية، حتى نجح الاسباني سانتي كازورلا في تسجيل الهدف الخامس في الدقيقة 61، بعد كرة عرضية من نام تايهي من الجانب الايسر والتي أعادها هاشم علي على حدود منطقة الجزاء ليسكنها سانتي كازورلا في شباك السيلية، مسجلا الهدف الخامس للسد.
وفي الدقيقة 80 أدرك بغداد بونجاح الهدف الثاني له والسادس للسد، ثم أضاف الهدف السابع في الدقيقة 86، قبل ان يسجل الهدف الرابع له والثامن للسد في الدقيقة 89، لينتهي الشوط الثاني والمباراة بفوز السد على السيلية بنتيجة ثمانية أهداف دون رد.
