SC adopts electronic security framework in preparations for Qatar 2022

DOHA: The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) has adopted an integrated electronic security framework in preparation for Qatar 2022 World Cup, aiming at identifying competencies and basic electronic security needs to protect the vital national services offered by the participating parties to support the organization of this extraordinary event, which is hosted for the first time in the Middle East.

SC Security Committee seeks to achieve the highest standards in terms of electronic security, which is at the top of the agenda of the organization of the 2022 World Cup, hence the idea of a comprehensive framework for the enhancement of electronic security capabilities was launched. The idea was the fruit of combined national efforts between partners and specialists.

Electronic security is a shared responsibility, which has prompted all government agencies, vital sectors and businesses to adopt this new framework and commit to implementing it in order to ensure the enhancement of the electronic security capabilities and the success in addressing any electronic threats.

In press remarks, Executive Director of SC Security Committee Col. Mohammed Majid Al Sulaiti praised the wise directives of the officials in this regard, which enabled the Committee to have great potential in the process of intelligent digital transformation, as well as having great potential in all fields.

Col. Al Sulaiti commended the efforts made by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy to promote electronic security and its attention to all details that ensure the organization of and ideal World Cup. He highlighted the close follow-up by officials to develop this framework to ensure the organization of a perfect World Cup in all respects.

He noted that the Security Committee has started the development of an integrated electronic framework in a collective cooperation with all partners and parties participating in the events of the tournament in order to benefit from their expertise in terms of the electronic security aspect, and in compliance with the SC commitment to organize a safe and distinguished World Cup. He stressed the keenness of the Security Committee to be in compliance with future and variable requirements and local and global standards, as well as local laws and regulations, which indicates the seamless integration of the electronic framework with current electronic security programs.

For his part, Head of the Electronic Security Unit Maj. Mahmoud Salah Ibrahim underlined that the development of this security framework is the fruit of real cooperative efforts, expressing gratitude to the partners in all sectors and global companies working in the State of Qatar who supported the national efforts, in a reflection of the honest and collective commitment to achieve success as one team.

Meanwhile, Representative of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy Maryam Al Muftah said that a coordination and follow-up office was established to follow up the implementation of the road map for all the participants in the services of the tournament, update the security framework in a manner commensurate with the variables, and to coordinate efforts between different state agencies and follow up exceptions and requirements of the World Cup.

She said that this achievement complements all previous efforts in preparation for the organization of an exceptional and secure World Cup that will establish the development of Qatari cadres and leave a sustainable legacy at the local and international levels.

قامت اللجنة الأمنية في اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث باعتماد “إطار أمن إلكتروني متكامل” استعدادا لبطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم المقررة في قطر 2022، وذلك بهدف تحديد الكفاءات واحتياجات الأمن الالكتروني الأساسية لحماية الخدمات الوطنية الحيوية التي تقدمها الجهات المشاركة لدعم استضافة هذا الحدث الاستثنائي الذي تستضيفه البلاد للمرة الأولى في منطقة الشرق الأوسط.

وتسعى اللجنة الأمنية إلى تحقيق أعلى المعايير فيما يتعلق بالأمن الإلكتروني والتي تحتل مركز الصدارة في أجندة تنظيم مونديال 2022، ومن هنا تولدت فكرة إصدار إطار عمل شامل يعنى بتعزيز قدرات الأمن الإلكتروني الذي هو ثمرة تظافر الجهود الوطنية بين الشركاء والمختصين.

ويعتبر الأمن الالكتروني مسؤولية مشتركة، وهو ما جعل كل الجهات الحكومية والقطاعات الحيوية والأعمال تتبنى هذا الإطار الجديد وتلتزم بتطبيقه لضمان تعزيز وبناء قدرات الأمن الإلكتروني اللازمة لتحقيق النجاح في التصدي لأي تهديدات إلكترونية.

من جانبه، أشاد العقيد محمد ماجد السليطي المدير التنفيذي للإدارة الأمنية باللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث بالتوجيهات السديدة من قبل المسؤولين في هذا الخصوص والتي بفضلها أصبحت اللجنة تمتلك إمكانيات هائلة في عملية التحول الرقمي الذكي، فضلا عن امتلاكها إمكانيات هائلة في كافة المجالات.

وأثنى العقيد محمد السليطي ،في تصريح صحفي، بجهود اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث للنهوض بالأمن الالكتروني والاهتمام بكل التفاصيل التي تؤمن تنظيم كأس عالم مثالية، منوها في ذات الوقت بمتابعة مسؤولي اللجنة الحثيثة لتطوير هذا الإطار بما يضمن تنظيم مونديال مثالي من كافة الأوجه.

وأوضح أن اللجنة الأمنية شرعت في تطوير إطار أمن الكتروني متكامل بالتعاون الجماعي مع شركائها والجهات المشاركة في فعاليات البطولة للاستفادة من خبراتهم فيما يخص الجانب الأمني الإلكتروني، ووفاء بالتزام اللجنة العليا بتنظيم مونديال آمن ومميز، مشددا على حرص اللجنة الأمنية على أن يكون هذا الإطار مستوفيا للمتطلبات والمتغيرات المستقبلية والمعايير المحلية والعالمية إلى جانب القوانين المحلية واللوائح المعمول بها، الأمر الذي يؤكد تكامله السلس مع برامج الأمن الإلكتروني الحالية.

بدوره، أكد الرائد محمود صلاح إبراهيم رئيس وحدة الأمن الالكتروني أن تطوير هذا الإطار الأمني ما هو إلا ثمرة جهود تعاونية حقيقية، لافتا إلى أن اللجنة الأمنية ممتنة وفخورة جدا لشركائها من جميع القطاعات والشركات العالمية العاملة في دولة قطر الذين دعموا الجهود الوطنية، وهو ما يعكس الالتزام الصادق والجماعي لتحقيق النجاح كفريق واحد.

من جهتها، أوضحت السيدة مريم المفتاح ممثل اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث، أنه انطلاقا من أهداف وحدة التأمين الالكتروني لتأمين البنية التحتية لكأس العالم لكرة القدم 2022 ومن خلال تطبيق إطار قدرات الأمن الالكتروني بشكل سريع ودقيق وفعال، تم إنشاء مكتب التنسيق والمتابعة لتنفيذ خارطة الطريق التي ترتكز على ميكنة عمليات المكتب بالكامل من خلال الحوكمة والتي تتيح أيضا رؤية واسعة وشاملة على مستوى مؤسسات الدولة المشاركة في البطولة.

وقالت المفتاح، في تصريح مماثل، إن هذا الإنجاز يأتي مكملا لكل الجهود السابقة في إطار الإعداد لتنظيم كأس عالم استثنائي وآمن يرسخ مدى تطور الكوادر القطرية، وليترك إرثا مستداما على الصعيدين المحلي والدولي.

وشددت على أن مهام مكتب التنسيق والمتابعة تتلخص في متابعة تنفيذ خارطة الطريق لكل الجهات المشاركة في خدمات البطولة، وتحديث الإطار بشكل يتناسب مع المتغيرات، بالإضافة إلى تنسيق الجهود بين مختلف جهات الدولة ومتابعة تغطية الاستثناءات علاوة على عكس متطلبات كأس العالم على نموذج الأمن الالكتروني.
