Amir issues industrial areas law and decrees

DOHA: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued yesterday Law no 8 of 2018 on industrial areas. The law is effective and is to be published in the official gazette.

H H the Amir issued instrument of ratification approving a draft protocol to amend some provisions of the air transport agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman signed on April 16, 2018.

H H the Amir issued instrument of ratification approving a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of education, higher education and scientific research between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Republic of El Salvador signed in Doha on January 16, 2018.

H H the Amir issued on Thursday Emiri Decision No. 32 of 2018, appointing Khalid Hamad Ali Al Yousef Al Sulaiti ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Iraq.

H H the Amir issued Amiri Decision No. 33 of 2018 appointing Bandar Mohammed Abdullah Al Attiyah ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the State of Kuwait.

H H the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 34 of 2018 appointing Ali Hamad Mubarak Al Marri ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Albania.

H H the Amir issued Amiri Decision No. 35 of 2018 appointing Abdulrahman Ali Rabiah Al Ajaj Al Kubaisi Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Sudan.

H H the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 36 of 2018 appointing Hassan Mohammed Rafea Al Emadi Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Japan.

H H the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 37 of 2018 appointing Mohammed Hassan Jaber Al Jaber ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Lebanese Republic.

H H the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 38 of 2018 appointing Zayed Saeed Rashid Al Kumait Al Khayareen Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan.

H H the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 39 of 2018 appointing Sheikha Moza bint Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Kingdom of Sweden.

H H the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 40 of 2018 appointing Saad Ali Hilal Al Mohannadi Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Portugal.

H the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 41 of 2018 appointing Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Ibrahim Al Humeid Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Ghana.

H H the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 42 of 2018 appointing Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Salih Al Sulaiti Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Kyrgyz Republic.

H H the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 43 of 2018 appointing Saad Mubarak Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Republic of Panama .

H H the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 44 of 2018 appointing Sultan Ali Yousef Mohammed Al Khater Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The decisions are effective starting from their date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.

H H the Amir ratified the Decree No. 26 of 2018 to ratify the cooperation agreement between the government of State of Qatar and the government of the Republic of Tunisia, in the field of Youth and Sport, signed in Doha on October 12, 1989, annexed to this decree and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

H H the Amir also ratified the Decree No. 27 of 2018 to ratify the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Legal Cooperation Activities between the government of State of Qatar and the government of Malaysia, signed in Putrajaya on October 16, 2017, annexed to this decree and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

H H the Amir issued Decree number 28 of 2018 ratifying an Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, signed in Doha on February 28, 2016, annexed to this Decree and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

H H the Amir issued Decree No. 29 of 2018 ratifying agreement on Encouragement and Mutual Protection of Investments between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, signed in Amman on January 28, 2009, annexed to this decree and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

H H the Amir issued Decree No. 30 of 2018 ratifying agreement on Encouragement and Mutual Protection of Investments between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, signed in Baku on 28/08/2007, annexed to this decree and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

H H the Amir issued Decree No. 31 of 2018 ratifying MoU for cooperation in the field of environment and conservation between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, signed in Muscat on Februay 26, 2016, annexed to this decree and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
