UDC Win Four Accolades at 2020 Arabian Property Awards

Doha: United Development Company (UDC), a leading Qatari public shareholding company and the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar and Gewan Island, won four accolades at the 2020 Arabian Property Awards, including the Mixed-Use Development award for The Pearl-Qatar, Best Mixed-Use Architecture for Gewan Island, Best New Hotel Construction & Design for Corinthia Gewan Island Qatar hotel, and Best Residential Property for Gewan Island’s private villas.

Having won the Mixed-Use Development award for the fourth time, The Pearl-Qatar incorporates a variety of distinct properties including apartments, villas, townhouses, penthouses, diverse entertainment facilities and retail offerings, in addition to beautiful serene beaches and the award-winning Porto Arabia marina which is also the Middle East’s largest marina.
UDC continues to enhance its offerings at The Pearl-Qatar with the construction of luxury residential villa compounds and shopping centers in Giardino Village and Floresta Gardens’ new precincts, in addition to the state-of-the-art “United School International” in Giardino Village and an exclusive yacht club in Porto Arabia.
UDC is also going forward with the development of Gewan Island which will comprise the award-winning ‘Corinthia Gewan Island Qatar’ Hotel, Beach Club and Golf Course, as well as 657 residential units, including 586 apartments and the winner private villas consisting of 21 beachfront villas with a private beach, 26 waterfront villas that are equipped with private pontoons for private boats and six independent island mansions.
Gewan Island’s unique mixed-use architecture further encompasses a lively retail hub at the heart of the Island surrounded by an air conditioned outdoor Crystal Walkway’ and seaside Promenade’, with public parks and green areas as well as comprehensive leisure facilities for residents. The Island will also be accessible via a cable-stayed bridge which promises to be a landmark and an architectural and engineering masterpiece that complements Gewan Island’s distinct character.
The Arabian Property Awards are considered the largest, most prestigious, and widely recognized award programme marking their 27th year. The awards therefore reflect UDC’s leading position ahead of hundreds of firms across 45 real estate categories including residential and commercial properties that have been carefully appraised by a panel of 80 international experts led by three members of the UK’s House of Lords. The evaluation is based on criteria such as design, quality, services, innovation and commitment to sustainability.

الدوحة: حصلت الشركة المتحدة للتنمية، على أربع جوائز ضمن جوائز العقارات العربية لعام 2020، بما في ذلك جائزة مشروع متعدد الاستخدامات عن جزيرة اللؤلؤة-قطر، وأفضل تصميم هندسي لمشروع متعدد الاستخدامات عن جزيرة جيوان، بالإضافة الى أفضل بناء وتصميم فندق جديد عن فندق كورنثيا جزيرة جيوان قطر، وأفضل عقار سكني لفلل جزيرة جيوان الخاصة.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أن جزيرة اللؤلؤة-قطر فازت بجائزة مشروع متعدد الاستخدامات للمرة الرابعة، حيث إنها تضم مجموعة متكاملة من العقارات المبتكرة، تشمل الشقق والفلل ومنازل التاون هاوس وشقق البنتهاوس والمرافق الترفيهية والمحلات التجارية المتنوعة، فضلا عن الشواطئ الجميلة الهادئة ومرسى بورتو أرابيا الحائز على جائزة عالمية وهو الأكبر على مستوى الشرق الأوسط.
فيما تواصل الشركة المتحدة للتنمية طرح مشاريع جديدة في جزيرة اللؤلؤة-قطر تشمل مجمعات فلل سكنية فاخرة ومراكز تسوق في منطقتي جياردينو فيلاج وفلورستا جاردنز، بالإضافة إلى مدرسة المتحدة الدولية المجهزة بالتقنيات والمرافق المتطورة في جياردينو فيلاج، ونادي اليخوت الفاخر في بورتو أرابيا.
كما تعمل الشركة المتحدة للتنمية على تطوير جزيرة جيوان التي ستضم فندق “كورنثيا جزيرة جيوان قطر” الحائز على جائزة أفضل بناء وتصميم فندق جديد، والنادي الشاطئي وملعب الغولف المتصلين به، بالإضافة إلى 657 وحدة سكنية، بما في ذلك 586 شقة والفلل الخاصة الفائزة التي تشمل 21 فيلا تتمتع بشاطئ خاص، و26 فيلا تقع على حافة المياه مزودة بأرصفة عائمة، و6 قصور واقعة على جزر مستقلة.
وتشمل الهندسة المعمارية الفريدة لجزيرة جيوان كذلك، منطقة تجارية حيوية في قلب الجزيرة يتوسطها ممشى الكريستال الخارجي المكيف ويحدها ممشى مكيف آخر على الواجهة البحرية، إلى جانب الحدائق العامة والمناطق الخضراء ومرافق ترفيهية شاملة للسكان. وسيتم الوصول إلى الجزيرة عبر جسر معلق بكابلات سيشكل علامة مميزة وتحفة معمارية وهندسية مبهرة تتوافق مع الطابع المتميز لجزيرة جيوان.
وتعتبر جوائز العقارات العربية أهم برنامج للجوائز مر على تأسيسه 27 عاما. وبهذا الفوز، تكون الشركة المتحدة قد تفوقت على المئات من المرشحين ضمن 45 فئة سكنية وتجارية مختلفة، الذين خضعوا لتقييم دقيق من قبل لجنة مختصة مكونة من 80 خبيرا عقاريا من مختلف أنحاء العالم، يترأسهم ثلاثة أعضاء من مجلس اللوردات البريطاني. حيث يرتكز التقييم على العديد من المواصفات كالتصميم والجودة وتوافر الخدمات والابتكار والالتزام بالاستدامة.
