Temporary traffic diversion on part of Huwar Street and Al Maqareen Street
تحويل مروري مؤقت بجزء من شارع حوار وشارع المقارين
The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal’, has announced that it will implement a temporary traffic diversion affecting a 1.3 kilometre northbound stretch of Huwar Street near Old Al Rayyan area, and a 500 metre stretch along Al Maqareen Street.
The detour has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic to facilitate the construction of Al Rayyan Road Upgrade project. The detour will be implemented on Friday 10 August 2018 and will be in place for a period of two months.
As shown on the attached map, road users travelling northbound from Al Rayyan Al Jadeed Street can use the first U-Turn to travel towards Al Rayyan, Bani Hajer and Education City; or second U-Turn to travel to the reconfigured Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Thani Roundabout. They can also take the right turn towards Al Maqareen Street to travel to Al Beday Street. Road users can also continue straight from the temporary traffic signal to travel towards Tilted Interchange.
Road users travelling southbound from Tilted Interchange can use the reconfigured Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Thani roundabout to travel towards Al Rayyan, Bani Hajer and Education City. They can also take the third exit at the roundabout to travel back to north or to east towards Al Maqareen Street and Al Beday Street.
Road users travelling westbound on Al Maqareen Street can use the temporary roundabout and temporary traffic signal to continue their journey towards Tilted Interchange. They can also use the second U-turn to travel towards Al Rayyan, Bani Hajer and Education City.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift and request all road users to abide by the speed limit, which has been reduced from 50 kph to 40 kph along the diversion routes, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تحويل مروري مؤقت بشارع حوار أمام القادمين من الريان العتيق في اتجاه التقاطع المائل على امتداد 1.3 كيلومتراً، كما تنفذ “أشغال” إغلاقاً مرورياً بجزء من شارع المقارين بطول 500 متراً لاستكمال أعمال مشروع تطوير طريق الريان.
يبدأ تنفيذ التحويل المروري والذي يأتي بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور اعتباراً من يوم الجمعة 10 أغسطس 2018 وسيستمر لمدة شهرين.
وخلال فترة التحويلة المرورية، يستطيع القادمون من شارع الريان الجديد في اتجاه الريان وبني هاجر والمدينة التعليمية عبر شارع حوار استخدام “الدوران الأول للخلف” أو استخدام “الدوران الثاني إلى الخلف” للوصول إلى دوار الشيخ خالد بن حمد آل ثاني المؤقت، أو مواصلة السير إلى شارع لبديع عن طريق الإنعطاف يميناً قبل الوصول للإشارة المرورية المؤقتة، أما للتوجه نحو التقاطع المائل يمكنهم الإستمرار بإتجاه الشمال. أما بالنسبة لمستخدمي الطريق القادمين من شارع المقارين والمتجهين غرباً، فيمكن استخدام الدوار المؤقت والإشارة المرورية المؤقتة لمواصلة رحلتهم نحو التقاطع المائل أو يمكنهم إستخدام “الدوران الثاني إلى الخلف” للتوجه نحو الريان وبني هاجر والمدينة التعليمية، كما هو موضح في الخريطة المرفقة.
يمكن لمستخدمي الطريق المتجهين جنوباً من التقاطع المائل استخدام دوار الشيخ خالد بن حمد آل ثاني المؤقت وذلك للتوجه نحو الريان وبني هاجر والمدينة التعليمية أو يمكنهم أيضاً استخدام المخرج الثالث من الدوار للتوجه شمالاً نحو التقاطع المائل أو شرقاً نحو شارع المقارين وشارع لبديع.
وتشير “أشغال” إلى أنه تم تخفيض السرعة المقررة في الساعة في شارع حوار من 50 كيلومتر في الساعة إلى 40 كيلومتر، وعلى مستخدمي الطريق اتباع الإشارات المرورية لضمان سلامتهم.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية اللازمة لإرشاد مستخدمي الطريق إلى التغيرات المرورية، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بالسرعة المحددة.
