Temporary Closure on Medical City Intersection for 13 Hours Only
إغلاق مؤقت بتقاطع المدينة الطبية لمدة 13 ساعة فقط
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces that it will implement a temporary closure on the Medical City Intersection (AKA Bin Omran Intersection), on the main lanes of the four sides of the intersection, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. The closure will last for 13 hours only from Thursday Midnight, 21 March to Friday noon, 22 March.
During this period, traffic heading to Medical City Intersection from its four sides can turn right only and use the next intersection, as shown on the attached map.
This temporary closure aims to complete the installation of new traffic signal utilities in Medical City Intersection, as part of the development works implemented on intersections and roundabouts in various areas of Doha, which aim to enhance the flow of traffic and reduce congestion in vital areas.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” أنه سيتم تنفيذ إغلاق مؤقت بتقاطع المدينة الطبية (بن عمران) في المسارات الرئيسية على كل من الجهات الأربعة للتقاطع، وذلك لمدة 13 ساعة فقط من منتصف ليل الخميس 21 مارس 2019 وحتى ظهيرة يوم الجمعه 22 مارس.
وخلال فترة الإغلاق، الذي يأتي بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور، يمكن للقادمين باتجاه تقاطع المدينة الطبية من جهاته الأربعة الانعطاف يميناً واستخدام التقاطع الذي يليه ، كما هو موضح في الخريطة المرفقة.
يهدف هذا الإغلاق المؤقت إلى استكمال أعمال تمديد كابلات الإشارات الضوئية والكاميرات بالتقاطع، وذلك في إطار أعمال تطوير التقاطعات والدوارت في مناطق متعددة من بلدية الدوحة، والتي تهدف إلى تعزيز انسيابية المرور وتخفيف الازدحام في المناطق الحيوية.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا الإغلاق، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
