The advisor to the Minister of Education responds to the rumors of vaccinating teachers

Doha: Mohamed Ahmed Al-Bishri, Adviser to the Minister of Education and Higher Education, explained the most important amendments announced yesterday regarding attendance during the second semester, denying at the same time the false information circulating regarding the vaccination of teaching staff in schools.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Education decided to raise the average attendance rate in all public schools, private schools and kindergartens to a rate of up to 50% of the capacity of schools, according to the weekly rotating attendance schedule, with compulsory attendance in the second semester starting from January 3^rd, 2021 for government schools and private schools According to its academic calendar and no later than January 10^th, 2021, provided that the integrated education system is applied according to the weekly rotating attendance schedules.

The advisor to the Minister of Education said during the Hayatuna program on Qatar TV yesterday’s evening, Tuesday: The attendance rate increased from 42% to 50% in all schools and kindergartens in the country, and there will be an application of the absence system.

He explained that the proportion of 50% of students will attend and there is a corresponding number at home learning remotely, but at the same time, during the class, and absenteeism, there will be 50% in the classroom and 50% learning from distance also who can interact with the teacher and ask questions or any inquiries.

In response to a question about vaccinating teachers with the Coronavirus vaccine, Al-Bishri said: Unfortunately, false information was published in the previous period. Responsibility for vaccination, whether scheduled or timing, belongs to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education has no interest in it, but certainly there is permanent coordination between us and them, the priority now is for the elderly, and the vaccination plan will be announced by the Ministry of Health if there are any changes in the plan that they previously announced, but for the Ministry of Education we are committed to all recommendations that come to us from the Ministry of Health, demanding that information be taken from official sources, whether from the ministry’s website or its accounts on the Social communication sites.

الدوحة: أوضح محمد أحمد البشري مستشار وزير التعليم والتعليم العالي أهم التعديلات التي تم الإعلان عنها اليوم بشأن الدوام خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني، نافياً في الوقت ذاته ما يتم تداوله من معلومات مغلوطة بشأن تطعيم الكوادر التدريسية في المدارس.

وقررت وزارة التعليم اليوم رفع متوسط نسبة الحضور في جميع المدارس الحكومية والمدارس ورياض الأطفال الخاصة إلى نسبة تصل إلى 50% من الطاقة الاستيعابية للمدارس، طبقاً لجدول الحضور التناوبي الأسبوعي، مع إلزامية الحضور في الفصل الدراسي الثاني بداية من 3 يناير 2021 للمدارس الحكومية، وللمدارس الخاصة طبقاً لتقويمها الأكاديمي وبحد أقصى إلى 10 يناير 2021، على أن يطبق نظام التعليم المدمج طبقاً لجداول الحضور التناوبي الأسبوعي.

وقال مستشار وزير التعليم خلال برنامج حياتنا على تلفزيون قطر مساء اليوم الثلاثاء: إن نسبة الحضور ارتفعت من 42% ووصلت إلى 50% في جميع المدارس ورياض الأطفال في الدولة وسوف يكون هناك تطبيق لنظام الغياب.

وأوضح أن نسبة الـ50% من الطلبة الذين سوف يحضرون هناك عدد مقابل في المنزل يتعلمون عن بُعد ولكن في نفس التوقيت، أثناء الحصة، والغياب سوف يكون هناك 50% في الفصول الدراسية و50% عن بعد أيضاً بإمكانهم التفاعل مع المدرس وطرح الأسئلة أو أي استفسارات.

ورداً على سؤال بشأن تطعيم المدرسين بلقاح كورونا، قال “البشري”: للأسف الشديد تم نشر معلومات مغلوطة في الفترة السابقة.. مسؤولية التطعيم سواء جدوله أو توقيته تابع لوزارة الصحة وليس لوزارة التعليم أي شأن فيه، ولكن بالتأكيد هناك تنسيق دائم بيننا وبينهم، الأولوية الآن هي لكبار السن وخطة التطعيم سوف تعلنها وزارة الصحة إذا كان هناك أي تغييرات في الخطة التي سبق وأعلنوا عنها لكن بالنسبة لوزارة التعليم نحن ملتزمون بكل التوصيات التي تأتينا من وزارة الصحة، مطالباً بأخذ المعلومات من المصادر  الرسمية سواء من موقع الوزارة أو حساباتها على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
