Children under 18 play tricks to ride e-scooters

Doha: Some children under the age of 18 are trying many tricks to use the e-scooter transport service launched by the transport company “Karwa” in a number of tourist areas such as Pearl Island and cultural village “Katara”, in cooperation with Falcon company specialized in providing short, safe and advanced-technology mobility solutions, through the use of personal cards of their parents, siblings or a relative over the age of 18 to rent e-scooters, where this process takes place electronically.

To be able to rent the e-scooter transport service, you must be at least 18 years of age, with the obligation to wear a helmet and stand on the light signals, because of the risks faced by young riders in accidents or falling from the top of the e-scooter, as well as some of them deliberately driving recklessly without regard to the presence of other drivers.

It is noteworthy that Mowasalat «Karwa» announced the cooperation with Falcon company specialized in providing short, safe, sustainable and technology-based mobility solutions, in some tourist places through the provision of e-scooters transport services, which is an innovative means of transportation that benefits from the strong infrastructure in the streets and tourist places.

الدوحة: يحاول بعض الأطفال الذي لم تتجاوز أعمارهم سن الثامنة عشرة حيل عديدة لاستخدام خدمة النقل بدراجات «الاسكوتر» التي أطلقتها شركة مواصلات «كروه» في عدد من المناطق السياحية كجزيرة اللؤلؤة والحي الثقافي «كتارا»، بالتعاون مع شركة فالكون المتخصصة في توفير حلول التنقّل القصيرة الآمنة والقائمة علىالتكنولوجيا المتقدمة، و ذلك من خلال استخدام البطاقات الشخصية لأولياء أمورهم أو أشقائهم أو أحد الأقارب ممن تزيد أعمارهم عن 18 عامًا من أجل استئجار دراجات «الاسكوتر»، حيث تتم هذه العملية الكترونياً.

ويشترط للحصول على خدمة النقل بدراجات الاسكوتر الإلكترونية أن لا يقل عمر المستفيد منها عن 18 عامًا، مع الالتزام بارتداء خوذة الرأس والوقوف على الإشارات الضوئية، وذلك لوجود المخاطر التي تواجه مستخدمي الدراجات من صغار السن التي تتمثل في وقوع حوادث لهم أو سقوطهم من أعلى الدراجة، فضلًا  عن أن بعضهم يتعمد القيادة بتهور دون مراعاة لوجود سائقين آخرين.

ويذكر أن شركة مواصلات «كروه» أعلنت عن التعاون مع شركة فالكون المتخصصة بتوفير حلول التنقّل القصيرة الآمنة والمستدامة والقائمة على التكنولوجيا المتقدمة، في بعض الأماكن السياحية من خلال تقديم خدمات النقل بدراجات الاسكوتر التي تعد من وسائل المواصلات المبتكرة التي تستفيد من البنية التحتية القوية في الشوارع والأماكن السياحية.
