U.S. Hospital reveals truth about nurse who fell after receiving the vaccine

Doha: In light of the currently spreading reports about the side effects of the Coronavirus vaccine, activists widely circulated a video showing a nurse who fell to the ground minutes after receiving the Coronavirus vaccine in the United States, which caused great panic among activists and across social networking sites until it came to circulating news about her death after that incident.

American nurse Tiffany Dover – who works at CHI Memorial Hospital in Tennessee state – appeared talking to the media after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine when she felt nauseous and collapsed, two people helped her and laid her on the ground.

With lightning speed, the video clip spread like wildfire under various headings, most notably warnings that the Coronavirus vaccine causes death, and that the nurse died after receiving the vaccine.

After her unconsciousness sparked a lot of speculation regarding the safety and side effects of the vaccine that Pfizer introduced last week in the United States, the hospital went out to refute those rumors, as it stated – to AFP – that it had given the first doses of the Pfizer vaccine to six of its staff members, who are three doctors and three nurses, December 17, 2020.

The hospital administration added: “One of the nurses felt nauseous shortly after receiving the vaccine and during her conversation with the media, and was treated after being laid on the ground.”

And it continued, “The nurse did not lose consciousness and quickly recovered from her illness.”

The nausea is due to the vaccine

As for the nurse herself, she refuted all the rumors, explaining that her medical record is full of moments of fainting.

She added in a video posted by WRCB Chattanooga + that “I have a very active vasovagal response”, so I may faint if I feel any pain … This is normal for me, as I have fainted about six times in the past six weeks.”

For his part, Dr. Jess Tucker, a specialist in critical cases at this hospital, said after receiving the vaccine, “There is no reason to suspect that the nausea is caused by the vaccine.”

“This is the same reaction that people feel when they go for a blood test and feel the needle prick or see it.”

Regarding the incident, a report published by the American International Business Times website, Monday, December 21, 2020, stated that the nurse, Tiffany Dover, was completely absent from the public’s eyes, due to her passing out after being vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine, which sparked many rumors about her death.

As Tiffany is a registered nurse at the Tennessee-based CHI Memorial Hospital, and she was one of the first to receive the Coronavirus vaccine, as she was put on the spotlight after she fainted at the press conference, shortly after she received the vaccine.

But despite the hospital’s statement insisting that the Tennessee nurse was alive, social media users refused to believe this. Many even questioned why the hospital issued a statement regarding her safety.

One Twitter user said: “I don’t believe it. Why don’t Tiffany (#TiffanyDover), her family, or her hospital respond to the rumors of her death in real terms?” It was alleged that she was already well shortly after the fainting episode, and was so keen to appear in public when she was vaccinated, why does she need privacy now?

Another tweeted: “The audience would like to hear from Tiffany Dover, not the hospital. The hospital’s tweet is doing nothing to help restore the public’s confidence.”

In conclusion, another said that he had heard that nurse Tiffany Dover, who passed out after taking the Covid-19 vaccine, had died, adding: “Her family is receiving death threats to remain silent. There is also an order to prohibit publication”.

الدوحة: في ظل التقارير المنتشرة حاليا حول التأثيرات الجانبية للقاح كورونا ، تداول ناشطون على نطاق واسع ممرضة تسقط أرضا بعد تلقيها لقاح كورونا بدقائق في الولايات المتحدة ، الأمر الذي أثار ذعرا كبيرا في أوساط النشطاء وعبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي حتى وصل الأمر إلى تداول انباء عن وفاتها بعد تلك الحادثة.

وظهرت الممرضة الامريكية تيفاني دوفر – تعمل في مستشفى “سي إتش آي ميموريال” الواقع في ولاية تينيسي.- وهي تتحدّث إلى وسائل الإعلام بعد تلقيها لقاح كوفيد-19 عندما شعرت بالغثيان وتهاوت فساعدها شخصان ومدداها أرضاً.

وبسرعة البرق انتشر مقطع الفيديو كالنار في الهشيم تحت عناوين مختلفة أبرزها تحذيرات من أن لقاح كورونا يسبب الوفاة ، وأن الممرضة توفيت بعد تلقي اللقاح.

وبعد أن أثار إغماؤها الكثير من التكهنات في ما يتعلق بالسلامة والآثار الجانبية للقاح الذي طرحته شركة فايزر، الأسبوع الماضي، في الولايات المتحدة، خرجت المستشفى لتدحض تلك الشائعات، حيث ذكرت -لوكالة فرانس برس – انها اعطت أولى جرعات لقاح فايزر لستة من أفراد طاقمه وهم ثلاثة أطباء وثلاثة ممرّضين 17 ديسمبر 2020 .

وأضافت إدارة المستشفى: “شعرت إحدى الممرضات بالغثيان، بعد وقت قصير من تلقيها اللقاح وخلال حديثها مع الوسائل الإعلاميّة، وأُسعفت بعد أن مُدّدت أرضاً”.

وتابعت: “لم تفقد الممرضة وعيها وتعافت من وعكتها سريعاً”.

الغثيان ناتج عن اللقاح

أما الممرضة ذاتها فنفت كل ما أثيرمن شائعات، موضحة أن سجلّها الطبي حافل بلحظات الإغماء.

وأضافت في فيديو نشرته قناة +WRCB Chattannoga+ أن “الاستجابة الوعائية المبهميّة نشيطة جداً عندي، لذلك قد يغمى عليّ إن شعرت بأي ألم…وهذا أمر عادي بالنسبة إلي فقد أغمي علي نحو ست مرات في الأسابيع الستة المنصرمة”.

من جهته قال الدكتور جيس تاكر المتخصص في الحالات الحرجة في هذا المستشفى بعد تلقيه اللقاح أيضاً إن “لا سبب للشكّ أن الغثيان ناتج عن اللقاح”.

وأضاف “هذه هي ردة الفعل نفسها التي يشعر بها أشخاص عندما يذهبون لإجراء فحص دم ويشعرون بوخز الإبرة أو يرونها.

وحول الحادثة أيضا ذكر تقرير نشره موقع International Business Times الأمريكي، الإثنين 21 ديسمبر/كانون اﻷول 2020، إن غياب الممرضة تيفاني دوفر عن أعين الجمهور بشكل كامل، بسبب إغمائها إثر تطعيمها بلقاح كوفيد-19، أثار الكثير من الشائعات عن وفاتها.

حيث إن تيفاني هي الممرضة المسجلة في مستشفى CHI Memorial ومقرها تينيسي، وقد كانت من الأوائل الذين تلقوا لقاح كورونا، حيث سُلطت الأضواء عليها بعد أن أغمي عليها في المؤتمر الصحفي، بعد وقت قصير من تلقيها اللقاح.

لكن على الرغم من بيان المستشفى الذي أصر على أن ممرضة تينيسي كانت على قيد الحياة، رفض مستخدمو وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي تصديق ذلك. حتى إن الكثيرين تساءلوا عن سبب إصدار المستشفى بياناً بشأن سلامتها.

حيث قال مستخدم على تويتر: “لا أصدق هذا. لماذا لا تستجيب تيفاني (#TiffanyDover) أو عائلتها أو مستشفاها لشائعات وفاتها بشكل حقيقي؟ يُزعم أنها كانت بخير بالفعل بعد مدة وجيزة من حادثة الإغماء، وكانت حريصة جداً على الظهور على الملأ عند تطعيمها، لماذا هي بحاجة إلى الخصوصية الآن؟”.

وغرد آخر: “يود الجمهور أن يسمع من تيفاني دوفر وليس المستشفى. تغريدة المستشفى لا تفعل شيئاً للمساعدة في استعادة ثقة الجمهور”.

في الختام قال آخر إنه سمع أن الممرضة تيفاني دوفر التي أغمي عليها بعد أخذ لقاح كوفيد قد ماتت، مضيفاً: “تتلقى أسرتها تهديدات بالقتل؛ لكي يصمتوا. هناك أيضاً أمر بحظر نشر”.
