Amir Receives Cable of Congratulation from US President

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, received a cable of congratulation from HE President of the United States of America Donald Trump, on the occasion of the National Day, in which His Excellency expressed his sincere congratulations on behalf of the government and the American people, praising the close relations that unites the two countries and their commitment to deepen and strengthen them.
HE the US President said in his message that the State of Qatar continues to prosper and develop under the leadership of HH the Amir, and the United States appreciates the cooperation of Qatar on several major bilateral, regional and economic issues with regard to continuing peace and stability in the region. HE the US President thanked HH the Amir for the great support for the American forces at Al Udeid Air Base, and for hosting the Afghan peace negotiations, as well as increasing cultural exchange between our two countries, including the American participation in Qatar Year of Culture 2021.
In his message, HE the US President also expressed pride in the partnership with Qatar, saying that he is proud of the long-established and indispensable partnership with Qatar, and looks forward to developing cooperation in the future.

الدوحة: تلقى حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى من فخامة الرئيس دونالد ترامب رئيس الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الصديقة، برقية تهنئة بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للدولة أعرب فيها فخامته عن خالص تهانيه نيابة عن الحكومة والشعب الأمريكي بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للدولة، مشيدا فخامته بالعلاقات الوثيقة التي تجمع البلدين والتزامهما بتعميقها وتعزيزها.
وقال الرئيس الأمريكي في برقيته، “تواصل دولة قطر الازدهار والنماء تحت قيادة سموكم، ونحن نقدر تعاون دولة قطر في عدة قضايا ثنائية وإقليمية واقتصادية رئيسية بالنسبة لمواصلة السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة، وإننا لنشكر سموكم على دعمكم الكبير للقوات الأمريكية في قاعدة العديد الجوية، وعلى استضافة قطر لمفاوضات السلام الأفغانية، وعلى التبادل الثقافي المتزايد بين بلدينا، بما في ذلك المشاركة الأمريكية في عام قطر للثقافة 2021” .
كما أعرب فخامة الرئيس الأمريكي في برقيته عن فخره بالشراكة مع قطر قائلا “إنني لفخور بالشراكة الراسخة مع قطر والتي لا غنى عنها، كما أتطلع إلى تطوير ما يجمعنا من تعاون في المستقبل”.
