Historic campaign launched in the U.S. to distribute Covid-19 vaccine

Washington: Saturday’s morning, a convoy of trucks loaded with suitcase-sized containers containing the emerging anti-coronavirus vaccine, produced by the American company Pfizer and German company BioNTech set off.

وأظهر بث تلفزيوني من المصنع الواقع في كالامازو عمّالًا يضعون الأقنعة ينقلون علبًا من الكرتون في حجم علب البيتزا تحتوي على أمبولات اللقاح من صندوق تجميد (فريزر) ويضعونها في مُبرّدات زرقاء كبيرة قبل تعبئتها في صناديق ووضع شعار الشركة عليها. وصفّق العمّال وأطلقوا الصفارات عندما تم نقل الصناديق الأولى نحو الشاحنات المُنتظرة.

وأشار بيرنا إلى أن عملية توزيع الشحنة الأولى من لقاحات كورونا ستنتهي الأربعاء المقبل وثم ستبدأ الشحنة الثانية، كما لفت إلى أن هناك نحو مئة ألف أمريكي شاركوا حتى الآن في التجارب السريرية على لقاحات كورونا.
