Fieldwork for the Final Phase of Qatar Census 2020 starts tomorrow

Doha: The Planning and Statistics Authority, on Sunday, will launch field work of the final phase of Qatar Census 2020, which will continue until mid-January 2021, with the participation of more than two thousand field researchers.

The Authority explained in a press release that the field work consists in collecting and completing data on families and individuals, as the researcher will provide the head of the family with 3 options to complete his data and his family data, either through a direct interview with the researcher, or through the enveloped paper form that will be distributed during the field visit, in a way that allows citizens and residents to fill it out in a timely manner and hand it over to field researchers on another day during the census period, or by self-completing the electronic form on the Authority website.

The Planning and Statistics Authority confirmed that the field process comes in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health in order to ensure the implementation of all precautionary measures in place in the country to combat the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19), indicating that field researchers have received intensive training on precautionary measures to ensure their safety and the safety of community members.

The Planning and Statistics Authority called on all citizens and residents, including families and individuals, to fully cooperate with field researchers and to provide accurate and correct data due to its importance in drawing up the state’s development policies and plans.

The Authority also confirmed the continuation of the self-filling service for the online form of the census, which is available until Jan. 7, through the link www.psa.gov.qa/census2020.aspx, calling on citizens and residents to fill in their data and the data of their families electronically because of the ease, convenience, speed, accuracy and complete privacy of this method.

The Authority added that this method is one of the latest technological means applied in censuses and field surveys to collect data on individuals through an electronic form available to all Qataris, whether inside or outside the country, in addition to non-Qataris residing in the state.

الدوحة: يطلق جهاز التخطيط والإحصاء يوم غد /الأحد/ الأعمال الميدانية من المرحلة النهائية للتعداد العام للسكان والمساكن والمنشآت /تعداد قطر 2020/، والتي تستمر حتى منتصف شهر يناير 2021، بمشاركة أكثر من ألفي باحث ميداني.

وأوضح الجهاز في بيان صحفي أن الأعمال الميدانية تتمثل في نزول الباحثين الميدانيين لجمع واستيفاء البيانات الخاصة بالأسر والأفراد، حيث سيتيح الباحث لرب الأسرة 3 خيارات لاستيفاء بياناته وبيانات أسرته وذلك إما عن طريق المقابلة المباشرة مع الباحث، أو من خلال الاستمارة الورقية المغلفة التي سيتم توزيعها خلال النزول الميداني، بما يتيح للمواطنين والمقيمين تعبئتها في الوقت المناسب لهم وتسليمها للباحثين الميدانيين في يوم آخر خلال فترة التعداد، أو عن طريق الاستيفاء الذاتي للاستمارة الإلكترونية على موقع الجهاز.

وأكد جهاز التخطيط والإحصاء أن عملية النزول الميداني تأتي بالتنسيق مع وزارة الصحة العامة وذلك لضمان تطبيق كافة الإجراءات الاحترازية المعمول بها في الدولة لمكافحة انتشار فايروس كورونا /كوفيد-19/، مشيرا إلى أن الباحثين الميدانيين تلقوا تدريبا مكثفا على الإجراءات الاحترازية لضمان سلامتهم وسلامة أفراد المجتمع.

ويحمل الباحثون الميدانيون بطاقات تعريفية صادرة عن الجهاز تحتوي على اسم الباحث ورقمه مع شعار واضح للجهاز، بالإضافة إلى وجود رقم هاتف مجاني هو 8000800 للربط مع مركز الاتصال بجهاز التخطيط والإحصاء في حال أرادت الأسرة التأكّد من هوية الباحث وكذلك الاستفسار عن أي معلومة تخص استيفاء بيانات /تعداد قطر 2020/ سواء عن طريق الباحثين أو إلكترونياً.

ودعا الجهاز كافة المواطنين والمقيمين من أسر وأفراد التعاون التام مع الباحثين الميدانيين والإدلاء بالبيانات الدقيقة والصحيحة نظراً لأهميتها في رسم السياسات والخطط التنموية للدولة.

كما أكد الجهاز على استمرار خدمة التعبئة الذاتية للاستمارة الإلكترونية الخاصة بالتعداد عبر الإنترنت والمتاحة حتى 7 يناير المقبل من خلال الرابط www.psa.gov.qa/census2020.aspx)).. داعياً المواطنين والمقيمين تعبئة بياناتهم وبيانات أسرهم إلكترونيا لما تتميز به هذه الطريقة من سهولة ويسر وسرعة ودقة وخصوصية تامة لرب الأسرة لتسجيل البيانات.

وأضاف أن هذه الوسيلة تعد من أحدث الوسائل التكنولوجية المطبقة بالتعدادات والمسوح الميدانية في جمع البيانات الخاصة بالأفراد عن طريق استمارة إلكترونية متاحة لجميع القطريين سواء الموجودين داخل الدولة أو خارجها بالإضافة إلى غير القطريين المقيمين داخل الدولة.
