International Forum on Translation and Problematics of Crosscultural Understandings to Launch Next Week

Doha: The activities of the seventh International Forum on Translation and Problematics of Crosscultural Understandings, which is organized by the Forum of Arab and International Relations, will launch on Dec. 16 and will continue for four days with the participation of translators, academics and researchers from different parts of the world.
The forum, which will be held via videoconferencing this year due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, will discuss a set of axes, through eight scientific sessions, including the problematics of Arabic/Persian translation, the problematics of translating from Arabic to Swedish, Korean, Pashto and Hausa, as well as the problematics of translating poetry, in addition to gender and religion related translations.
The Forum’s organizing committee noted that all sessions will be broadcasted live on all platforms of the Forum of Arab Relations.

الدوحة: تنطلق فعاليات المؤتمر الدولي السنوي السابع حول الترجمة وإشكالات المثاقفة الذي ينظمه منتدى العلاقات العربية والدولية يوم 16 ديسمبر الجاري، ويستمر أربعة أيام بمشاركة مترجمين وأكاديميين وباحثين من دول مختلفة من أرجاء العالم.
وسيتناول المؤتمر الذي سيقام عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي هذا العام بسبب جائحة كورونا، عبر ثمان جلسات علمية جملة من المحاور ، وهي إشكالات الترجمة العربية /الفارسية، وإشكالات الترجمة العربية من وإلى اللغات السويدية والكورية والبشتو والهاوسا، إشكالات ترجمة الشعر ، الترجمة والإشكالات الجندرية ، الترجمة الدينية وإشكالاتها.
كما سيناقش محور بعنوان كتاب محوري في الثقافة الإنسانية لم يترجم إلى العربية بعد وتنبغي ترجمته، فضلا عن تنويعات ترجمية ، حيث يتناول هذا المحور مواضيع متنوعة في الحقل الترجمي مثل الترجمة الوسيطة، والترجمة والمستوى اللغوي في كتب الأطفال العربية والسويدية .
ونوهت اللجنة المنظمة للمؤتمر بأنه سيتم بث جميع الجلسات بثًّا مباشرا على جميع منصات منتدى العلاقات العربية.
