Media reports expect that the Coronavirus vaccine will become a condition for air travel, as entry to the plane requires a pre-arrival certificate stating that the vaccine has been obtained as a kind of safety measure for travelers, according to the American Alhurra website.
The Australian company “Qantas” was at the forefront of airlines that revealed that it is studying changing the conditions and provisions of airline tickets, as it will request a copy of the vaccination certificate for each passenger, according to the “Lonely Planet” website, as the company indicated that it may require this condition for travelers coming to Australia, or even departing from it.
And if airlines impose this condition, it is not known how they will deal with a class of people who do not want to take the vaccine, in addition to the possibility of issuing false certificates for travelers.
Reports indicate that some governments may impose a vaccination requirement, or make it a reason to exempt travelers from mandatory quarantine regulations in hotels when entering their territories.
In the same context, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced at the end of November that it had “reached the final stages of developing an internationally accepted travel document”, which increases the reassurance of travelers and airlines alike.
The digital document includes information on checking the passenger and confirming that he has received the vaccine, for companies to verify it before allowing the passenger to board the plane, as the expected technology aims to spare the traveler many travel restrictions and quarantine procedures in the country he intends to visit.
It is expected that information about receiving the vaccine will be linked to the passenger’s passport in a digital way, to facilitate access, according to details reported by the “Daily Mail” newspaper.
It is worth noting that drug manufacturers recently announced successful combinations of anti-coronavirus vaccines, including “Pfizer” and “Moderna” the American, and “AstraZeneca” British, where recent clinical trials have proven the efficacy of vaccines at rates of about 95 percent.
The United States and other countries around the world have begun procedures for obtaining vaccine doses to vaccinate citizens against the virus, which is spreading strongly in various parts of the world and has caused large numbers of deaths and infections, as well as paralyzing global travel and the economy in various countries of the world.

وفي حال فرضت شركات الطيران هذا الشرط، لا يعرف كيف ستتعامل مع فئة من لا يرغبون بأخذ اللقاح، إضافة إلى احتمالات إصدار شهادات مزورة للمسافرين.
وتشير التقارير إلى أن بعض الحكومات قد تفرض شرط التطعيم، أو قد تجعله سببا لإعفاء المسافر من أنظمة الحجر الإلزامية في الفنادق عند دخول أراضيها.
وفي نفس السياق كان الاتحاد الدولي للنقل الجوي “إياتا” قد أعلن نهاية نوفمبر “وصوله المراحل الأخيرة من تطوير وثيقة سفر مقبولة عالميا”، تزيد من اطمئنان المسافرين وشركات الطيران على حد سواء.
وتشمل الوثيقة الرقمية معلومات فحص الراكب، وتأكيد تلقيه اللقاح، لتقوم الشركات بالتحقق منها قبل السماح للمسافر بالصعود إلى الطائرة، حيث تهدف التقنية المرتقبة، إلى تجنيب المسافر كثيرا من قيود السفر وإجراءات الحجر الصحي في البلاد التي ينوي زيارتها.
ومن المتوقع أن يتم ربط معلومات تلقي اللقاح بجواز سفر الراكب بطريقة رقمية، لتسهيل الوصول إليها، وفقا لتفاصيل نقلتها صحيفة “ديلي ميل”.
جدير بالذكر أن شركات مصنعة للأدوية أعلنت مؤخرا التوصل إلى تركيبات ناجحة من اللقاحات المضادة لفيروس كورونا، بما فيها “فايزر” و”موديرنا” الأميركية، و”آسترازينيكا” البريطانية، حيث أثبتت التجارب السريرية الأخيرة فعالية اللقاحات بنسب وصلت الى نحو 95 في المئة.
وبدأت الولايات المتحدة ودول أخرى حول العالم إجراءات الحصو على جرعات اللقاحات لتطعيم المواطنين ضد الفيروس الذي ينتشر بقوة في مختلف أنحاء العالم وسبب اعدادا كبيرة من الوفيات والإصابات، كما تسبب في شل حركة السفر العالمية والاقتصاد في مختلف بلدان العالم.
