Kuwait Amir: The agreement to resolve the Gulf crisis is a historic achievement

Kuwait: His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the sisterly State of Kuwait, expressed his great happiness and satisfaction at the historic achievement that has been achieved through the continuous and constructive efforts that have been made recently to reach a final agreement to resolve the disagreement that arose between the brothers, through which all parties confirmed their commitment to solidarity, cohesion and Gulf and Arab stability.
His Highness, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, according to the Kuwait News Agency, said that the agreement reflected the aspiration of the concerned parties to achieve the supreme interests of their people in terms of security, stability, progress and well-being.
He added, “While expressing our happiness for this achievement, we remember with appreciation the benevolent and constructive efforts of His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God rest his soul, who led these efforts since the first day of the conflict, and who laid the foundations for that agreement so that the efforts of His Highness, may God have mercy on him, remain in the depths of Our conscience and in the pages of our history”.
His Highness added, “We extend our congratulations and appreciation to my brothers, Their Majesties, Excellencies and Highnesses, for their keenness to achieve this blessed historical step for the good of our children and achieve their aspirations and to all friends in the world for their support for the mediation efforts made by the State of Kuwait, which was appreciated by us.”
His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, also thanked and appreciates the US President Donald Trump for his supportive efforts, which reflect the commitment of the United States of America to maintaining the security and stability of the region.
I would also like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with your wise leadership and your usual skill in achieving the historic achievement in reaching the final agreement to resolve the Gulf dispute, recalling in this regard the benevolent and constructive efforts of His Highness the late Amir of the country, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. That the fraternal representation of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt reflects its prestigious position and its pioneering role in seeking to support the security and stability of the region and its keenness on solidarity and unity in light of the delicate conditions that the world and the region live in. What was reached between brothers is an achievement that will restore our Gulf entity and our joint Arab action, its unity and cohesion in the face of the challenges afflicting the entire world, and in order to enable us to work together in the pursuit of achieving the legitimate hopes and aspirations of our peoples for security, stability, prosperity and well-being.

الكویت: أعرب صاحب السمو الشيخ نواف الأحمد الجابر الصباح أمير دولة الكويت الشقيقة عن بالغ سعادته وارتياحه للإنجاز التاريخي الذي تحقق عبر الجهود المستمرة والبنّاءة التي بذلت مؤخرًا للتوصل إلى الاتفاق النهائي لحل الخلاف الذي نشب بين الأشقاء، وأكدت من خلاله كافة الأطراف حرصها على التضامن والتماسك والاستقرار الخليجي والعربي.
وقال سمو أمير دولة الكويت، وفقًا لوكالة الأنباء الكويتية، إن الاتفاق عكس تطلع الأطراف المعنيّة إلى تحقيق المصالح العليا لشعوبهم في الأمن والاستقرار والتقدم والرفاه.
وأضاف أنه «في الوقت الذي نعرب فيه عن سعادتنا لهذا الإنجاز نستذكر بالتقدير الجهود الخيرة والبناءة لسمو الأمير الراحل الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح طيب الله ثراه الذي قاد تلك الجهود منذ اليوم الأول لنشوب الخلاف، والذي أرسى قواعد ذلك الاتفاق لتبقى جهود سموه رحمه الله في أعماق وجداننا وفي صفحات تاريخنا».
وتابع سموه قائلًا «نتوجه بالتهنئة والتقدير لإخواني أصحاب الجلالة والفخامة والسمو لحرصهم على تحقيق تلك الخطوة التاريخية المباركة لخير أبنائنا وتحقيق تطلعاتهم وإلى كافة الأصدقاء في العالم على دعمهم لجهود الوساطة التي قامت بها دولة الكويت، والذي كان محل تقدير من جانبنا».
كما توجه سمو الشيخ نواف الأحمد الجابر الصباح أمير دولة الكويت، أيضًا بالشكر والتقدير للرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب على جهوده الداعمة التي تعكس التزام الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في الحفاظ على أمن واستقرار المنطقة.
