GCC Secretary-General Welcomes Kuwait Statement Related to Strengthening Gulf and Arab Solidarity and Stability

Riyadh: The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, welcomed the statement issued by the Kuwait’s Foreign Minister and Acting Information Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah today, related to strengthening Gulf and Arab solidarity and stability in order to reach a final agreement that achieves what countries aspire for in terms of permanent solidarity in the region.
The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf affirmed that this statement reflects the councils strength and cohesion as well as its ability to overcome all obstacles and challenges with the grace of God, and with the wisdom of their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC countries, which have always been the reference and refuge in the face of the challenges facing the march of the Council, which represents the strategic choice for its member states.
Dr. Al-Hajraf also thanked the supportive efforts of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, and the friends who supported the mediation efforts and believed in the unity of the Gulf Cooperation Council, its strength and its pivotal role regionally and internationally in enhancing security and peace and supporting development efforts.
Dr. Al-Hajraf extended thanks, appreciation and congratulations to their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC states on this blessed day, and to the members of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, who are witnessing the beginning of a new phase led by their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC states to achieve goodness, development, security and prosperity for the Council, and its state members.
Dr. Al-Hajraf sent a message to the people of the Gulf region and the media, to look positively to the future and avoid everything that could provoke or inflame differences, with the need to focus on everything that would enhance and support solidarity in the Council’s march and strengthen its structure to face challenges.

الرياض: رحب الدكتور نايف فلاح مبارك الحجرف الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية بالبيان الصادر من وزير الخارجية الكويتي الشيخ الدكتور أحمد ناصر المحمد الصباح، يوم الأمس، والمتعلق بتعزيز التضامن والاستقرار الخليجي والعربي وصولا إلى اتفاق نهائي يحقق ما تصبو إليه الدول من تضامن دائم وتحقيق ما فيه من خير لشعوبها.
وأكد الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية أن “هذا البيان يعكس قوة المجلس وتماسكه وكذلك قدرته على تجاوز كل المعوقات والتحديات بفضل الله ثم بحكمة وحنكة أصحاب الجلالة والسمو قادة دول المجلس والتي كانت دائما المرجع والملاذ في مواجهة التحديات التي تعترض مسيرة المجلس والذي يمثل الخيار الاستراتيجي لدوله والبيت الكبير الذي يحتضن أبناءه”.
وشدد على أن أبناء مجلس التعاون إذ يستبشرون بهذا البيان، ليتطلعون إلى تعزيز وتقوية البيت الخليجي والنظر للمستقبل بكل ما يحمله من آمال و طموحات وفرص نحو كيان خليجي مترابط ومتراص يعمل لخدمة دوله وشعوبه ويدفع بعجلة التنمية والتقدم والأمن والازدهار.. مستذكرا بالتقدير والعرفان في هذه المناسبة الجهود الصادقة والمخلصة والتي قادها ومنذ اليوم الأول الأمير الراحل الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح، واستكملها سمو الشيخ نواف الأحمد الجابر الصباح أمير دولة الكويت، “والتي نشهد ثمارها من خلال البيان الصادر اليوم”.
كما شكر الدكتور الحجرف الجهود الداعمة لرئيس الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية دونالد ترامب والأصدقاء الذين دعموا مساعي الوساطة وآمنوا بوحدة مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية وقوته ودوره المحوري إقليميا ودوليا في تعزيز الأمن والسلم ودعم جهود التنمية.
ورفع الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون “الشكر والتقدير والتهنئة لأصحاب الجلالة والسمو قادة دول المجلس في هذا اليوم المبارك وإلى أبناء مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، والذين يشهدون بداية مرحلة جديدة من مسيرتنا المباركة يقودها أصحاب الجلالة والسمو قادة دول المجلس بعون الله و توفيقه لتحقيق الخير والنماء والأمن والازدهار للمجلس و دوله وأبنائه”.
ووجه الدكتور الحجرف رسالة إلى أبناء الخليج ووسائل الإعلام بالنظر بإيجابية إلى المستقبل والابتعاد عن كل ما من شأنه إثارة الخلافات أو تأجيجها، مع ضرورة التركيز على كل ما من شأنه تعزيز ودعم التضامن في مسيرة المجلس و تقوية بنيانه لمواجهة التحديات.
