“SpaceX” transports 4 astronauts to the International Space Station

Washington: Three astronauts from “NASA” and a pilot from Japan will set out for the International Space Station on Saturday on board a “Space X” rocket, in the first “operational” mission of six months devoted to resuming manned flights into space from the United States last May after nine years of interruption. And count on Russia. And the US Space Agency (NASA) officially approved Tuesday the “Crew Dragon” vehicle developed by “Space X” as a safe way to transport its astronauts on regular flights. The “Space X” group founded by Elon Musk had completed a preliminary mission from May to August during which it transported two astronauts to the space station, then brought them back to Earth without any problems. The missile is expected to take off Saturday at 19:49 (04:49 GMT) from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The crew consists of Americans Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker and Japanese Sôichi Noguchi. And meteorological forecasts are favorable for the trip.
The vehicle is supposed to dock with the station after eight and a half hours, on Sunday at 09:20 GMT.

واشنطن: ينطلق السبت ثلاثة روّاد من «ناسا» ورائد من اليابان إلى محطة الفضاء الدولية على متن صاروخ ل «سبايس إكس»، في أول مَهمّة «تشغيلية» مدّتها ستةُ أشهر تكرّس استئناف الرحلات المأهولة إلى الفضاء من الولايات المُتحدة في مايو الماضي بعد تسعة أعوام من الانقطاع والاعتماد على روسيا. واعتمدت وكالةُ الفضاء الأمريكيّة (ناسا) رسميًا الثلاثاء مركبة «كرو دراغون» من تطوير «سبايس إكس» كوسيلة آمنة لنقل روّادها في رحلات مُنتظمة. وكانت مجموعة «سبايس إكس» التي أسّسها إلون ماسك قد أنجزت مَهمّة تمهيدية من مايو إلى أغسطس نقلت خلالها رائدَين إلى المحطة الفضائية، ثم أعادتهما إلى الأرض من دون مشاكل تُذكر. ومن المرتقب أن يقلع الصاروخ السبت عند الساعة 19,49 (0,49 بتوقيت غرينيتش) من مركز كينيدي الفضائي في فلوريدا. ويتألّف الطاقم من الأمريكيين مايكل هوبكينز، وفيكتور غلوفر، وشانون ووكر، واليابانيّ سويشي نوغوشي. وتوقّعات الأرصاد الجوية مؤاتية للرحلة.
ومن المُفترض أن تلتحم المركبة بالمحطّة بعد ثماني ساعات ونصف الساعة، يوم الأحد عند الساعة 9,20 بتوقيت غرينيتش.
