Doha: The Thai Tourism Authority announced the gradual opening for Qatar residents who wish to visit the Thailand through its introduction of the Special Tourist Visa Program, which provides a long-term visa for travelers with the intention of tourism or work. This visa aims to revive international tourism in Thailand, following the great success of the domestic tourism program, as well as attracting foreign tourists to visit Thailand for a period between 30 and 90 days, with the possibility of extending it to 270 days,
“Thailand is one of the safest travel destinations around the world, as we have taken all necessary precautions to welcome visitors back to our beaches and our distinguished tourist destinations, through a special tourist visa for long-stay visitors,” said Pechaya Sai Sengen, Director of the Thai Tourism Authority In the Middle East “We have cooperated with our public and private partners in Thailand to set and achieve the highest standards of health and safety, including the launch of the” Thailand Safety and Health Administration “certification, in addition to amending our tourism offers and encouraging sustainable tourism to preserve the wildlife and traditions of Thailand”. الدوحة: أعلنت هيئة السياحة التايلاندية عن الفتح التدريجي أمام سكان دولة قطر والراغبين بزيارة المملكة من خلال طرحها لبرنامج تأشيرة السياحة الخاصة، والتي توفر تأشيرة طويلة الأمد أمام المسافرين بقصد السياحة أو العمل. وتهدف هذه التأشيرة إلى إنعاش السياحة الدولية في تايلاند، وذلك عقب النجاح الكبير الذي حققه برنامج السياحة الداخلية، إلى جانب استقطاب السائحين الأجانب لزيارة تايلاند لفترة بين 30 و90 يوماً، مع إمكانية تمديدها إلى 270 يوما.
وقال بيتشايا ساي سنجن، مدير مكتب هيئة السياحة التايلاندية في الشرق الأوسط: “تعتبر تايلاند واحدة من أكثر وجهات السفر أماناً حول العالم، حيث قمنا باتخاذ كافة الاحتياطات اللازمة لنرحب مجدداً بالزوار في شواطئنا ووجهاتنا السياحية المتميزة، وذلك من خلال التأشيرة السياحية الخاصة للزوار المقيمين لفترة طويلة”، وأضاف ساي سنجن: “قمنا بالتعاون مع شركائنا من القطاعين العام والخاص في تايلاند لوضع وتحقيق أعلى معايير الصحة والسلامة، بما في ذلك إطلاق شهادة “إدارة السلامة والصحة في تايلاند”، بالإضافة إلى تعديل عروضنا السياحية وتشجيع السياحة المستدامة للحفاظ على الحياة الفطرية وتقاليد المملكة”.
