Amir meets Representative of Kuwait Amir

Doha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met yesterday at the Amiri Diwan with H H Sheikh Nasser Al Mohammad Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Representative of Amir of the State of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah at the launch ceremony of Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor and the accompanying delegation.

At the outset to the meeting, Sheikh Nasser conveyed the greetings of the Amir of Kuwait to H H the Amir, expressing thanks for naming the corridor road project after the Amir of Kuwait. Sheikh Nasser also conveyed the wishes of the Amir of Kuwait of good health and happiness to H H the Amir and for continued progress and prosperity for the Qatari people.

H H the Amir conveyed his greetings of the Amir of the State of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah to Sheikh Nasser Al Mohammad Al Ahmad Al Sabah, wishing him good health and further progress and prosperity to the Kuwaiti people. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations.

Afterwards, H H the Amir held a luncheon banquet in honour of the Representative of the Amir of the State of Kuwait and the accompanying delegation.

The meeting and the banquet was attended by H H Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Personal Representative of H H the Amir, and Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.

استقبل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، بالديوان الأميري ظهر اليوم، سمو الشيخ ناصر المحمد الأحمد الصباح، ممثل صاحب السمو الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح أمير دولة الكويت الشقيقة في حفل تدشين “محور صباح الأحمد”، والوفد المرافق.

وفي بداية المقابلة، نقل سمو الشيخ ناصر تحيات سمو أمير دولة الكويت الشقيقة إلى أخيه سمو أمير البلاد المفدى، وشكره وتقديره بإطلاق اسم سموه على مشروع المحور، متمنيا له وافر الصحة والسعادة وللشعب القطري دوام التقدم والازدهار.

ومن جانبه، حمل سمو الأمير المفدى سمو الشيخ ناصر المحمد الصباح تحياته لأخيه سمو الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح، وتمنياته له بموفور الصحة والعافية وللشعب الكويتي الشقيق المزيد من التقدم والرخاء.

وجرى خلال المقابلة استعراض العلاقات الأخوية الوطيدة بين البلدين الشقيقين.

وعقب ذلك، أقام سمو أمير البلاد المفدى مأدبة غداء تكريما لسمو الشيخ ناصر المحمد الأحمد الصباح والوفد المرافق.

حضر المقابلة والمأدبة سمو الشيخ جاسم بن حمد آل ثاني الممثل الشخصي للأمير، ومعالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية.;
