Exception Entry Permits expired? No problem, they can now be extended

Doha: Residents who have obtained an Exception Entry Permit to enter Qatar but couldn’t travel before its expiry can now apply to extend the permit for an additional 30 days.
However, certain conditions have to be met before applying for the extension, Qatar’s e-Government Portal, Hukoomi said on Monday.
They are:
*That the extension request is submitted at least one day after the expiry of the previous permit
*The holder of the permit must not be inside the state.
Qatar launched the “Exceptional Entry Permit” to help Qatar residents and their families stuck overseas due to COVID-19 enter the country. The temporary service allows employers, whether individuals or companies, government or private sectors, to apply for entry permits for residents and their family members holding QIDs under which they can return to Qatar.
Starting August 1, applications for the permit can be submitted through the Qatar Portal.
HOW TO APPLY
-Create a new account or log in to your existing account (if available).
-Click on “Apply for Exceptional Entry Permit”.
-Read terms and conditions and prepare all required attachments before starting the application.
-Enter application page and fill in required information correctly and completely as shown in passport.
-Enter your email correctly to receive approval on your application.
-Print permit and keep copy of it and a copy of quarantine undertaking to be presented to airport officials.

ابتداءً من 1 أغسطس، يمكن تقديم طلبات التصريح من خلال بوابة قطر.
كيفية التقديم:
-إنشاء حساب جديد أو تسجيل الدخول إلى حسابك الحالي (إن وجد).
– الضغط على “طلب تصريح دخول استثنائي”.
– قراءة الشروط والأحكام وتجهيز جميع المرفقات المطلوبة قبل بدء التطبيق.
– أدخل صفحة التقديم واملأ المعلومات المطلوبة بشكل صحيح وكامل كما هو موضح في جواز السفر.
– أدخل بريدك الإلكتروني بشكل صحيح لتلقي الموافقة على طلبك.
– طباعة التصريح والاحتفاظ بنسخة منه ونسخة من تعهد الحجر الصحي لتقديمها لمسؤولي المطار.
