Germany: An elderly person in the German city of Aachen came up with a strange idea to achieve adherence to spatial distance: the use of pepper spray. Police in the western German city said yesterday that the 71-year-old man used this trick on the weekend with a group of people who were jogging and with two cyclists, who “drowned them in direct spray from close range.”
Police added that the two cyclists “barely got off without incident” on their bikes and reported to the police, while the group of runners disappeared. The police stated that the elderly man told the patrol that he saw that this is the only way in which he can make others adhere to the necessary spatial separation due to Corona
A statement was issued against the man for inflicting bodily harm to others and seriously interfering with traffic on the road.

وأضافت الشرطة أن راكبي الدراجتين تمكنا «بالكاد من النزول بدون وقوع حوادث» من على دراجتيهما وأبلغا الشرطة، بينما اختفت مجموعة العدائين. وذكرت الشرطة أن الرجل المسن أخبر الدورية أنه يرى أن هذه هي الطريقة الوحيدة التي يمكن من خلالها جعل الآخرين يلتزمون بالتباعد المكاني الواجب بسبب كورونا. وتحرر محضر ضد الرجل بتهمة إلحاق الأذى البدني بآخرين والتدخل على نحو خطير في حركة السير في الطريق.
