Scientific Club produces the first batch of upgraded face masks
النادي العلمي ينتج أول دفعة من أقنعة الوجه المطورة

Sheikh Ali bin Salman Al Thani, Head of Activities and Events at The Qatar Scientific Club, revealed the designing and printing of a paper face mask using the 3D printer that can be reused by replacing only the filter, which effectively contributes to reducing the use of face masks and the fact that they are running out of the market. Sheikh Ali Al Thani explained in the program “Ramadan and people” on Qatar TV, that with the beginning of the crisis of the coronavirus, the club empowered all its staff to search for solutions to the problems facing us with the emergence of this virus, pointing out that there are a number of achievements in the Qatari scientific club.
He revealed that the Qatari Practical Club began producing the first batch of masks after the development process, and communicating with the Qatari Red Crescent for use by medical staff.
Sheikh Ali Al Thani explained that the employees of the club have developed a face protector so that it can be able and help to reduce the use of reusable tools, pointing out that with the beginning of the first design, they cooperated with the Qatari Red Crescent so that they were given a limited amount of face masks and then conducted the experiments on them and gave us some observations on how to work on the development of these masks.

كشف الشيخ علي بن سلمان آل ثاني، رئيس الأنشطة والفعاليات في النادي العلمي القطري، عن تصميم وطباعة كمامة ورقية باستخدام الطابعة الثلاثية الأبعاد يمكن إعادة استخدامها من خلال استبدال المنقي “الفلاتر” فقط، الأمر الذي يساهم بشكل فاعل في تقليل استخدام الكمامات ونفادها من السوق. وبين الشيخ علي آل ثاني في برنامج “رمضان والناس” على قناة قطر، انه ومع بداية ازمة فيروس كورونا قام النادي بتمكين جميع الكوادر العاملة لديه من أجل عمليات البحث للحصول على حلول للمشاكل التي تواجهنا مع ظهور هذا الفيروس، مبينا ان هناك عددا من الانجازات في النادي العلمي القطري.
وكشف ان النادي العملي القطري بدأ إنتاج أول دفعة من الاقنعة بعد عملية التطوير عليها، والتواصل مع الهلال الأحمر القطري لاستخدامها من قبل الكوادر الطبية.
وأوضح الشيخ علي آل ثاني ان العاملين في النادي قاموا بتطوير واقي الوجه بحيث يمكن من القدرة والمساعدة على التقليل في استخدام الادوات المعاد استخدامها، مبينا انه ومع بداية اول تصميم تم التعاون مع الهلال الأحمر القطري بحيث تم اعطاؤهم كمية محدودة من اقنعة الوجه ومن ثم قاموا بعملية التجارب عليها وقدموا لنا بعض الملاحظات بكيفية العمل على تطوير هذه الاقنعة.
