Doha: Doha Zoo has witnessed a number of newborns, including an African lion in good health, and is artificially breastfed after being rejected by the mother, under the supervision of a specialized technical team according to a schedule of 24 hours, and its growth, vital signs and general health are being monitored. The zoo also witnessed the birth of 16 animals of five different species, including (11) chitals, (2) Dorca gazelles, (1) Sika Deer, (1) jungle monkey, and (1) Addax.

الدوحة: شهدت حديقةُ حيوان الدوحة عددًا من المواليد الجدد، شملت أسدًا إفريقيًا بحالة صحية جيدة، ويتمّ إرضاعه اصطناعيًا بعد رفضه من قبل الأم، وذلك بإشراف فريق فني مختص حسب جدول زمني محدد على مدار الساعة، ويتم مراقبة نموه وعمل القياسات الحيوية والحالة الصحية العامة له. كما شهدت الحديقةُ ولادةَ 16 حيوانًا لخمسة أنواع مُختلفة تشمل (11) آيلًا أرقطَ، (2) غزال الدوركس، (1) آيل السيكا، (1) قرد الأدغال، (1) الأداكس.
