Students of 3rd Batch of Candidates at Police College Receive Their Graduation Certificates

Doha: The Police College held a ceremony on Wednesday evening to distribute certificates to the graduates of the third batch of the college candidates in the presence of a number of ministers, officers, faculty members, and parents, at the Police Training Institute.

The 112 candidates, included graduates from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Palestine, and the Republic of Yemen, received graduation certificates after passing all the academic and training requirements to obtain a bachelors degree in law and police sciences with success and distinction.

In his speech on this occasion, Director-General of the Police College Brigadier Mohammed Abdullah Al Muhana Al Marri affirmed that the world is going through an exceptional circumstance due to the COVID-19 outbreak, which has left negative effects on various walks of life. Therefore, the Police College has taken all precautionary measures to limit the spread of this pandemic by following the instructions of the health authorities in the country and completing its course with success.

Al Marri added that the Police College has achieved a large part of its goals and vision to be a beacon in the field of legal and police sciences for its graduates and to achieve leadership in this field. It has provided its students with specialized academic programs in accordance with international standards by following modern methods of education and training, linking the theoretical and practical parts, and raising the level of security sense among students to deal consciously in future security situations, he explained.

He pointed out that application programs have been developed to benefit the candidates in their working lives, such as debates, the legal clinic, simulations, and crime-scene training, in addition to developing their military training skills through specialized courses that are considered the best in the region in terms of their development, diversity, and method of application such as thunderbolt, parachute jump, and diving.

Director-General of the Police College confirmed that the leadership qualification program for candidates contributed to improving students’ leadership skills and their ability to assume the tasks and responsibilities that will be placed on their shoulders, concluding his speech by thanking all partners and supporters of the colleges activities, wishing success to all graduates in their future assignments.

In the graduates’ speech, the candidate officer, Talal Khaled Al Rumaihi, explained that he and his colleagues are living moments of joy and happiness by reaching the graduation day after a journey full of difficulties and arduous stages, but the most beautiful in their lives.

He explained that their lives were transformed in the school years into a completely different life, which created men armed with science, knowledge, and specialized field training to be up to the responsibility that will be placed on their shoulders in the future and to complete the march of parents and grandparents in the service of the dear country.

The candidate officer, Talal Al Rumaihi explained that the Police College throughout the study period was the incubator environment for them and an integrated system in many fields, stressing the college administrations keenness to create an educational and training environment that stimulates creativity, development, and thinking differently while adhering to all known military systems and traditions by distributing roles and times between military training and academic study.

In a press statement, Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at the Police College Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Jaber Hammoud Al Nuaimi expressed his happiness for the graduation of the third batch after they spent four years in the college in which they passed 130 acquired hours that qualified them to obtain a Bachelor of Law and Police Sciences, and they also passed many specialized courses and training programs to obtain this qualification. He explained that when the candidate joins the Police College, he is transferred from civilian life to the military then enrolled in the academic study, where he receives leadership qualification programs, followed by the enrollment in thunderbolt, parachute and diving courses.

الدوحة: أقامت كلية الشرطة مساء اليوم حفل توزيع الشهادات على خريجي الدفعة الثالثة من الطلبة المرشحين بالكلية بحضور عدد من الوزراء والضباط وأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية وأولياء الأمور، وذلك بمعهد تدريب الشرطة.

وتسلم المرشحون الذين وصل عددهم 112 مرشحا منهم خريجون مبتعثون من المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية ودولة فلسطين والجمهورية اليمنية شهادات التخرج بعد اجتيازهم جميع المتطلبات الأكاديمية والتدريبية لنيل درجة البكالوريوس في القانون وعلوم الشرطة بنجاح وتميز.

وفي كلمته بهذه المناسبة أكد العميد الدكتور محمد عبدالله المحنا المري مدير عام كلية الشرطة أن العالم يمر بظرف استثنائي يتعلق بتفشي جائحة كورونا (كوفيد-19) مما ترك آثارا سلبية على مختلف مناحي الحياة ولذلك فقد قامت كلية الشرطة باتخاذ جميع الإجراءات الاحترازية للحد من انتشار هذا الوباء من خلال اتباع تعليمات الجهات الصحية بالدولة وإكمال مسيرتها بكل نجاح.

وأضاف أن كلية الشرطة حققت جزءا كبيرا من أهدافها ورؤيتها لتكون نبراسا في مجال العلوم القانونية والشرطية لخريجيها وتحقيق الريادة في هذا المجال فقدمت لطلبتها برامج اكاديمية متخصصة وفقا للمعايير الدولية من خلال اتباع الأساليب الحديثة في التعليم والتدريب والربط بين الشقين النظري والعملي ورفع مستوى الحس الأمني لدى الطلبة للتعامل بوعي وإدراك في المواقف الأمنية مستقبلا.

وأشار إلى أنه تم استحداث برامج تطبيقية تفيد المرشحين في حياتهم العملية مثل المناظرات والعيادة القانونية والمحاكاة “الصوتصورية” والتدريب على مسرح الجريمة، علاوة على تطوير مهاراتهم التدريبية العسكرية من خلال دورات متخصصة تعد الأفضل على مستوى المنطقة من حيث تطورها وتنوعها وطريقة تطبيقها مثل الصاعقة والقفز المظلي والغوص.

وأكد مدير عام كلية الشرطة أن برنامج التأهيل القيادي للمرشحين أسهم في تحسين مهارات الطلبة القيادية وقدرتهم على تولي المهام والمسؤوليات التي ستلقى على عاتقهم، مختتما كلمته بتقديم الشكر إلى كافة الشركاء والداعمين لأنشطة الكلية والتوفيق لجميع الخريجين في مهامهم المقبلة.

وفي كلمة الخريجين، أوضح المرشح ضابط طلال خالد الرميحي أنه وزملاءه يعيشون لحظات الفرح والسعادة بالوصول إلى يوم التخرج بعد رحلة مليئة بالصعوبات والمراحل الشاقة لكنها الأجمل في مسيرة حياتهم.

وأوضح أن حياتهم تحولت في سنوات الدراسة إلى حياة أخرى مختلفة تماما خلقت منهم رجالا متسلحين بالعلم والمعرفة والتدريب الميداني المتخصص ليكونوا على قدر المسؤولية التي ستلقى على عاتقهم مستقبلا وليكملوا مسيرة الآباء والأجداد في خدمة الوطن الغالي.

وأوضح المرشح ضابط طلال الرميحي أن كلية الشرطة طوال فترة الدراسة كانت البيئة الحاضنة لهم ومنظومة متكاملة في العديد من المجالات مؤكدا حرص إدارة الكلية على خلق بيئة تعليمية وتدريبية محفزة للإبداع والتطور والتفكير بشكل مختلف مع الالتزام بجميع النظم والتقاليد العسكرية المعروفة والقدرة على توزيع الأدوار والأوقات بين التدريب العسكري والدراسة الأكاديمية بكل جراءة وجدارة.

وفي تصريح صحفي عبر المقدم الدكتور جبر حمود النعيمي مدير إدارة الشؤون الإدارية والمالية بكلية الشرطة عن سعادته بلحظة تسليم منسوبي الدفعة الثالثة شهادات تخرجهم بعد أن أمضوا بالكلية 4 أعوام اجتازوا فيها 130 ساعة مكتسبة أهلتهم للحصول على بكالوريوس القانون وعلوم الشرطة، كما اجتازوا العديد من الدورات التخصصية والبرامج التدريبية للحصول على هذا المؤهل.

وأوضح أن المرشح عندما يلتحق بكلية الشرطة يتم تحويله من الحياة المدنية إلى العسكرية ثم ينخرط في الدراسة الأكاديمية حيث تطبق عليه جميع اللوائح وبرامج التأهيل القيادي والتي تنتهي بالانخراط في دورات الصاعقة والقفز المظلي والغطس.
