Qatar Foundation organises several activities for Ramadan

The activities and events are:
* Prophetic Biography Series Learn about the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from Sheikh Yahya al-Naimi through daily videos posted on the Education City Mosque’s social media platforms. These can be accessed at https://www.youtube.com/ecmosque
* Al-Saa’im Al-Sagheer 2020 Children aged 6-12 years are welcome to participate in this programme.
Document your children doing a good deed and post it on social media to inspire others.

* Spotlight on Qur’anic Verses Webinars with Dr Abdulrahman al-Harami will address different verses of the Holy Qur’an and discuss its connection to our daily lives. These will take place every day at 4.30pm during Ramadan. More details are available at https://www.facebook.com/ecmosque/
* Webinars: The Qur’an Their Lives: Listen and participate in live interviews with distinguished community figures from various fields, and learn more about the role the Qur’an has played in their lives.
These will take place every two days during Ramadan, from 10am-11pm.

“Throughout Ramadan, Qatar Foundation is offering a host of online events and activities for the entire community of Qatar to participate in from their own homes, and we invite people of all ages and cultures to explore them and benefit from them.
“While we may be physically apart, Ramadan brings us together through the power of faith and unity, and the events and activities that Qatar Foundation is providing reflect the true spirit of this special time.

قال السيد خليفة الكبيسي، مدير العلاقات الإعلامية والمكتب الصحفي في مؤسسة قطر:” يعدّ شهر رمضان المبارك فرصة سنوية للتأمل ومراجعة الذات والتواصل معها، وإثراء عقولنا وأرواحنا بإعادة النظر في أولوياتنا وتوسيع مداركنا من خلال المعرفة واليقظة، لا سيّما في هذه المرحلة التي يواجه العالم فيها تحديات غبر مسبوقة”.
أضاف الكبيسي:” تقدّم مؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع مجموعة من الأنشطة والندوات والمحاضرات والبرامج المتوافرة عبر شبكة الانترنت طوال شهر رمضان المبارك التي يمكن لجميع أفراد المجتمع الاستفادة منها وهم في منازلهم. ندعوهم جميعًا لاستكشافها والمشاركة بها على اختلاف أعمارهم وثقافاتهم”.
تابع الكبيسي:” قد يغيّر التباعد الاجتماعي من عاداتنا في التواصل عن قرب والتزاور خلال هذا الشهر الفضيل، لكن بالتأكيد يجمعنا التضامن الإنساني والإيمان القوي، وهذا ما تعكسه أنشطة مؤسسة قطر في هذه المرحلة. وبمناسبة حلول شهر رمضان المبارك نتمنى للجميع داخل دولة قطر وخارجها شهرًا مباركًا مفعمًا بالصحة والسلامة والعافية”.
وتتمثل الانشطة في تنظيم جامع المدينة التعليمية طيلة شهر رمضان المبارك مجموعة من الأنشطة والفعاليات عن بُعد لجميع أفراد المجتمع ومن كافة الفئات العمرية. كما تنظم حلقات حول سلسلة السيرة النبوية للتعريف بسيرة النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) يقدمها الشيخ الدكتور يحيى النعيمي من خلال حلقات الفيديو التي تنشر يوميًا على صفحات جامع المدينة التعليمية على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي.
كما تعقد خلال شهر رمضان المبارك ولغاية 31 مايو حديقة القرآن النباتية لقاءات تفاعلية أسبوعية بعنوان “مكتبتك عندي” حول مجموعة الكتب النباتية والإصدارات لدى مكتبة حديقة القرآن النباتية، بالإضافة إلى أنشطة اخرى.
