Twitter’s new features: Muting notifications and removing without blocking

Twitter has started testing new features on the app, which will make it easier for users to control their tweets and who views them.

According to the images published by experts, the application is testing a new feature that will allow users to remove certain followers from their pages without having to block them, as followers who have been removed from a particular person’s page on Twitter will not be able to see his tweets, but they will still be able to search him on the application.

A Twitter user will also have several options for controlling their followers, the first option is to “mute notifications” from a particular person, the second option is “report a specific account,” and the third is “remove the account” from the follower list.

Currently, Twitter users cannot remove a specific follower from their page directly, so they resort to blocking the follower’s account, and then unblock the account if they wish.

In addition to this feature, “Twitter” recently began testing another important feature that allows the user to specify who can reply or comment on his published tweets.

وتبعا للصورالتي نشرها خبراء ، فإن التطبيق يختبر ميزة جديدة ستسمح للمستخدمين بإزالة متابعين معينين من صفحاتهم دون أن يضطروا لحظرهم، حيث إن المتابعين الذين تمت إزالتهم من صفحة شخص معين على “تويتر” لن يتمكنوا من رؤية تغريداته، لكنهم سيظلون قادرين على البحث عنه على التطبيق.

كما أن مستخدم “تويتر” ستتاح له عدة خيارات بالنسبة للتحكم بمتابعيه، الخيار الأول هو “إسكات الإشعارات” من شخص معين، والخيار الثاني “الإبلاغ عن حساب معين”، أما الثالث فهو “إزالة الحساب” من قائمة المتابعين.

ولا يمكن لمستخدمي “تويتر” حاليا إزالة متابع معين من صفحتهم مباشرة، لذا يلجأون لحظر حساب المتابع، وبعدها إلغاء الحظر إن رغبوا بذلك.

وبالإضافة لهذه الميزة بدأ “تويتر” مؤخرا باختبار ميزة مهمة أخرى تسمح للمستخدم بتحديد من يمكنهم الرد أو ترك تعليقات على تغريداته المنشورة.
