British William Shakespeare, the world’s first man to receive the coronavirus vaccine, has died in hospital at the age of 81 after a long battle with an unrelated disease, the Daily Mail reports. Shakespeare, known as Bell, made international headlines when he received the first dose of Pfizer vaccine at Coventry and Warwickshire University Hospital. The former Rolls-Royce employee died last Thursday after a period of illness in the same hospital where he received the vaccine. Shakespeare is the second person to receive a certified vaccine after 91-year-old Margaret Keenan received her dose in the same hospital moments before. توفي البريطاني ويليام شكسبير وهو أول رجل في العالم يحصل على اللقاح المضاد لفيروس كورونا، في المستشفى عن عمر يناهز 81 عاما بعد معركة طويلة مع مرض ليس له علاقة بالفيروس، بحسب صحيفة “ديلي ميل”. وشكسبير الذي كان معروفا باسم بيل، احتل عناوين الصحف العالمية عندما تلقى أول جرعة من لقاح “فايزر” في مستشفى جامعة كوفنتري ووارويكشاير. وتوفي الموظف السابق في شركة “رولز رويس” يوم الخميس الماضي بعد فترة مرضية في نفس المستشفى حيث تلقى اللقاح. وشكسبير هو ثاني شخص يحصل على لقاح معتمد بعد أن حصلت مارجريت كينان (91 عاما) على جرعتها في نفس المستشفى قبل لحظات.
