New flight route established between Qatar and Egypt

Egypt’s Assiut International Airport is preparing to receive the first flight through the newly established flight route (between Qatar and Egypt) from Doha on Sunday (July 4th) operated by Air Cairo, Egyptian media said.
Sources confirmed to the Egyptian newspaper Akhbar al-Youm that “Air Cairo” is scheduled to operate two flights a week between Assiut and Doha airports.
The Egyptian newspaper said that “Air Cairo” received on April 26 the latest aircraft A320neo, which joined its air fleet of 7 aircraft to bring the size of the fleet to eight aircraft.
This is part of a deal involving three A320neo aircraft and three more under negotiation to be received by the company this year, bringing the fleet to 19 aircraft of the same model until 2024.
قالت وسائل إعلام مصرية إن مطار أسيوط الدولي يستعد لاستقبال أولى رحلات خط طيران جديد (بين قطر ومصر) قادمة من الدوحة، يوم الأحد المقبل 4 يوليو تسيرها شركة “إير كايرو”.
وأكدت مصادر لصحيفة أخبار اليوم المصرية أنه من المقرر أن تسيير “إيركايرو” رحلتين أسبوعيا بين مطاري أسيوط والدوحة.
وقالت الصحيفة المصرية إن شركة “آير كايرو” استقبلت في 26 أبريل الماضي أحدث طائراتها من طراز A320neo والتي انضمت إلى أسطولها الجوي الذي يضم 7 طائرات ليصل حجم الأسطول لـ 8 طائرات.
ويأتي ذلك ضمن صفقة تضم 3 طائرات من طراز A320neo بالإضافة إلى ثلاثة أخرى جار التفاوض بشأنها تتسلمها الشركة العام الحالي وصولا بالأسطول إلى 19 طائرة من ذات الطراز حتى عام 2024.
