معرض إبداعي للإيراني محمد خزائي في كتارا
DOHA: The Cultural Village, Katara, is hosting creative exhibitions by Iranian artist Mohammad Khaza’i until the end of April at building No. 19.
This event comes to present various artistic experiences to the audience. The exhibition, which was opened on Thursday by Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, General Manager of Katara, included about 30 different works in which
Mohammed Khaza’i highlighted the convergence between the Persian decoration and the beauty of Arabic craftsmanship based on bilateral heritage and innovation.
Commenting on his work, the Iranian artist living in Japan. Mohammed Khaza’i, said that he mixed a variety of artistic forms, including the beauty of Persian ornament and the magic of Arabic calligraphy.
Iranian artist Mohammad Khaza’i also added that it was grounded mainly on mastering fine details by working on various materials and tools, including oil colours and copper look like colours, as he used in compact paper paintings, giving the impression that the works are on copper.
Khaza’i said that he was inspired by the beauty of nature in his various works, including Arabian horses, because of their cultural symbolism. He also pointed out that his exhibition combines the Arab and Persian cultures through their majestic and their value, translated into cross-fertilization between the two cultures.
تحتضن المؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي “كتارا” في المبنى 19 معرضاً إبداعياً للفنان الإيراني محمد خزائي وذلك حتى نهاية الشهر الجاري.
ويضم المعرض، الذي افتتحه سعادة الدكتور خالد بن إبراهيم السليطي المدير العام للمؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي “كتارا”، 30 عملاً متنوعاً سعى من خلالها محمد خزائي إلى إبراز التلاقي بين الزخرفة الفارسية وجمال الحرف العربي بالاعتماد على ثنائية التراث والتجديد.
وتعليقًا له على ما قدمه من أعمال، قال الفنان الإيراني المقيم في اليابان محمد خزائي إنه مزج بين أشكال فنية متنوعة أبرز من خلالها جمال الزخرفة الفارسية وسحر الخط العربي، مضيفاً أنه اعتمد بالأساس على إتقان التفاصيل الدقيقة من خلال العمل على خامات وأدوات متنوعة منها الألوان الزيتية والألوان القريبة من النحاس حيث استعمل في عدد من اللوحات الورق المضغوط بما يعطي الانطباع أن الأعمال من النحاسيات.
وبيّن خزائي أنّه استوحى جمال الطبيعة في مختلف أعماله ومنها الخيل العربي وذلك لما لها من رمزية ثقافية. كما أشار إلى أنّ معرضه دمج بين الثقافتين العربية والفارسية لعراقتهما وثرائهما بما يترجم التلاقح بين الثقافتين العريقتين.
