Qatar Chamber Participates in Inauguration of OAC’s Headquarters

Muscat: Qatar Chamber participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre’ (OAC) which was held on Sunday 24 October in the Sultanate of Oman.
The Chamber’s delegation included QC Board Member Khalid bin Gabor bin Twar Al Kuwari and HE Qatar International Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (QICCA) Board Member for International Relations Sheikh Dr. Thani bin Ali Al-Thani.
OAC provides the necessary consultations and services for the procedures of settling commercial disputes. It also seeks to spread the culture of resolving trade disputes using alternative means. The Centre issues newsletters, publications and cooperates with relevant local, regional and international arbitration centers, entities and organizations.

مثّل الغرفة في الحفل، كل من السيد خالد بن جبر بن طوار الكواري عضو مجلس الإدارة، وسعادة الشيخ الدكتور ثاني بن علي آل ثاني عضو مجلس الإدارة للعلاقات الدولية بمركز قطر الدولي للتوفيق والتحكيم التابع للغرفة.
يذكر أن مركز عُمان للتحكيم التجاري يعمل على تقديم خدمات التحكيم والوساطة والتوفيق لتسوية المنازعات التجارية المحلية والدولية، وغيرها من الوسائل البديلة التي تتفق عليها أطراف النزاع وأيضا تقديم الاستشارات والخدمات اللازمة لإجراءات تسوية المنازعات التجارية مع العمل على نشر ثقافة تسوية المنازعات التجارية بالوسائل البديلة وإصدار النشرات ومطبوعات المركز والتعاون مع مراكز التحكيم والجهات والمنظمات المحلية والإقليمية والدولية ذات الصلة.
